+Space case no its not, they started playing the conjuring recently... and this song has nothing "unholy". Great song ,shame what dave did with all the originals, the grit of the recordings is what made this song and others classics, this original is what it should sound like!
dave is the one of the best these riffs are some of the best butn still the band is underated dave riffs better then many and he is actually one of the best riffers.
The intro reminds me of something I made a long time ago while I was really tired and laying down with a guitar in my hands. Of course it wasn't as good as this, but it was similar.
this song indeed is complex and its awesome but not the best sure one of daves best the rythem ride in this song was just like one big solo, the rythem is genius really good song.
@Synard13 Nope. This was all underground when it came out. We knew they were going to go big, but not on the radio or anything. It was pretty common for a band to change lettering and logos once they made a little money to afford it. This was way before any computer graphic programs where you could do it yourself. But I get what your saying. lol
It's a shame they don't play this song live anymore, this is one of their best songs.
I feel ya madude, got to see them in Cleveland a month ago, Dave's voice matured from this album by a long shot. I mean, it's to be expected though

His religion is what's actually having him not preform this song.

That haunting intro is one of the best spooky intros ever. Just permeates your psyche slowly but steadily.
And so much more menacing and ominous on this version.
Love the whole vibe
Dave's solo is sick as fuck. One of my favorite songs.
Truly someone point me to a song that is ANYWHERE NEAR like this one! I mean seriously. It's just incredible

^^ Fair point...Well I always found Chosen Ones to be a little lacking
The best song he ever wrote IMHO. Wish we could get a well mastered version..but even this is beyond incredible.
I'd rather not, Knowing Dave he'll make the guitars too damn prominent
The best part is the fucking riff at 1:29. It's just so weird, so ominous and so amazing.
That bass during the solo at the end is 10/10
No me había percatado que tiene varios arreglos en esa parte. Son menos notorios que (por ejemplo) en Rattlehead
This is my favorite song off of this album and imo it's one of their most overlooked and under appreciated earlier songs.
This entire album is so fucking good I basically listen to it every day at least once.

Dave went places that he hasn't returned to yet with this one. It's very good.
I love the variety of riffs and sounds throughout this song
I prefer this original mixing/mastering. Great song!!
Me too
As much as I like Megadeth, Dave screwed up big time with the remastering, it’s sounds awful after you hear the original material.
Pure genius, one of my favorite Megadeth songs.
I was one of those Metallica fans who didn't know anything else bout metal! But then I listened to Megadeth and learned the real meaning of thrash!

The intro sounds like it should be the theme to an 80s slasher movie
Mustaine put more riffs in one song than most bands put on their whole record. Sad he doesn’t embrace his roots. Rip Gar.
Why on earth they insist on playing She Wolf, Trust, Tout le Monde etc with this album in their catalog is beyond me.

Down the walkways through the blood stained town
Looking down the cross bleeding from the crown
Led to slay, to die besides the thieves
Kill the king of the world to be
And now to you, this will come a putrefying pestilence
More noxious than the serpent's breath malevolently destined
More corrupt than the malice of Choronzon
More disease than the wind of the moonlight sun
Putrefaction you have caused no need for confession
Now you wish you had a God to stop your demolition
Crushing the bones of the hundredfolds swinging the judgment hammer
Man, woman, child no-one is safe the heads of the dead are the banner
And this was all you got so don these broken wings
Sands of time run out, bells of Hades ring
Is this a nightmare to un-hallow thy name
