That was what my airforce pilot dad would call "greasing it in" most impressive! Found out the bigger the bird, throttle management is absolutely imperative nice maiden, and a good looking plane!
W0W…. I thought that I was the only one that still had thatAirtroncis Radio. just got it back from Soto racing where they replaced a couple of my switches. I do now have the ix12.. that I will be putting all my planes on.
Andy , Back in the day I had a P.C. sport , with an Q-50 for power , a P.C. 300 with an Brison 2.6 for power , both flew nice , an I see you have an Airtronics 10-G , Damm if I have one as well !!
Andy, another beauty! I'm always amazed at how an expert Monokote finish can bring such clarity in the air. My first covering jobs looked like you were chasing a 1/2A plane using a kaleidoscope and beer goggles. Much worse when they were airborne. Thanks again for your tips on my DLE for my almost completed 4 Star. I bought a 3D printer and fashioned some winglets for it. One more thing for the rake I purchased to collect after the maiden. Should I get this motor leaned a bit on the ground? Thanks again for your vids and tutorials!
You can lean it out before the maiden if you have broken in the engine already. If not, get it close but still a little rich and lean it out over a few flights
That's to funny that anyone would say anything you have forgotten just today alone more than 99% even know I thought dam she is growing and sounds amazing dam cool Bird hope to see more of her in future vids I got to say what a relief it is you didn't stop a year or two ago great flying Andy 👍✌️
I like the sound of that engine, leave it rich. Seem like we all getting some nice flying weather. There was 3 of us down on the river today. You know you had a good day when you burned over 1/2 gallon of fuel in a little K&B .61
Hey Mr. Andy, I just found your channel today, I was looking up "Stinger Engines", and you were doing the first look at the Stinger 40... and I heard you mention "Prime Stik". I'm a huge fan of Stik airplanes, so I had to dig deeper. This is the first time I've heard of the Prime Stik... can you give me some more info? Is it a scratch build or Kit, or ??? THANKS!!! Oh.... SUBBED!!
Andy I have looked on the AMA site where you mentioned you got the plans for the Prime Stick however I cannot locate them on their site. Do you happen to know the plan number as I may be able to locate it that way. Great looking plan! Thank you for any help you can provide.
It was super nice over here in Jackson!

Scratch built from plans by AMA
@@n1114v thanks.

Search for prime cut and it will be listed as prime cut (no wing plan)
Great landing 👌🏻
Who has this Prime Stick? Being a Stik fan, I LOVE the looks of this thing!
Hi scratch-built the fuselage from an old set of plans and design my own wing, the kit has been unavailable for about 30 years
Dear Andy, do you have the plans for this airplane?? I have a new Supertigre g4500 that I am looking for a simple airplane to put it in. Thanks, Tony
I bought the plans through AMA. You will have to create your own wing, the plan just shows the airfoil
Nice! 👍🏻
Hangar tour? Been almost 3 years since last one
Not much is different but...... maybe
What is the final flying weight of your Prime Stick?
@@johnleseur3753 I never weighed it. Probably around 17 pounds
what kit is this or how makes it
Fuselage is built from plans, and the wing is my own design
Andy, love those engines, have 4 stingers. And love your videos as well. Keep my late night ipad content alive please. Better then bullshit TV.
I have plenty of content to keep you busy for a long long time
Sounds fine on my iPhone.
The high-speed is pretty close but low-speed is still pretty rich
Andy any way i can get in touch with you ? Do you have a username for flyinggiants or rcgroups?
Unfortunately Facebook is the only other platform that I use.
