Believers are not appointed to wrath, which begins at the first vial. What occurs prior vials, a last trumpet.
Few notice that the mark occurs prior wrath, as the first vial is against those who have the mark, meaning the mark occurs prior.
It’s like Armageddon, many say it’s the next battle, yet Armageddon armies aren’t even gathered until the 6th vial, Rev 16:16. The actual battle isn’t recorded until Rev 19, how can we know this, because the beast and false prophet who led the armies are cast into the lake of fire, and Satan is bound 1000 years in Rev 20.

I agree with your last 2 statements. However, Jesus warns that he is coming as a thief after 6 bowls of wrath have already been poured out. Rev 16:
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial...
I think God's people will be kept from God's wrath just as the Israelites were kept from the 10 plagues in Egypt.

      Thank you!
I understand the difference to be for the people of Israel having to endure wrath of vials, believers taken prior at the last trump, as believers meet in the air, to where He returns to earth at Armageddon. The people of Israel won’t be expecting Him at Armageddon when He returns saving all Israel, as a thief is a surprise as they missed Him when He returned for the church, the Matt 23 blessing has to be fulfilled, as well as the hidden mystery of 11:18.

@@Jim-d1f Israel's punishment will be over at the end of the 70th week, at the end of the great tribulation, which is at the end of the 6th trumpet. When the 2 witnesses rise, all Israel will be saved. Both Israel and the church will be looking for Jesus to return and to destroy the enemies gathered at Armageddon. The clearest example is Rev 14:14-16 where Jesus harvests his people (1 harvest, Jews and Gentiles) just before the destroyers are destroyed in Rev 14:17-20.

@@Jim-d1f Israel's final 7 years of punishment and the great tribulation both end when the 2 witnesses ascend into heaven to end the 6th trumpet. The people of Israel will have had 3.5 years with the 2 witnesses who will have prepared them for the arrival of Jesus as did John the Baptist. There is only 1 harvest of believers. It includes both believing Jews and Gentiles. This harvest is best described in Rev 14:14-16. God destroys those gathered at Armageddon in Rev 14:17-20, which is another listing of the last plague as is Rev 11:18-19. Jesus only comes as a thief to those who are not looking for him. The 144,000 Jews who became Christians in Rev 7 are the first fruits of this harvest, Rev 14:1-5. Since the 144,000 in heaven are the first fruits of the resurrection/rapture harvest and since the 2 witnesses are also resurrected/raptured; the 144,000 are the 2 witnesses/2 candlesticks/2 churches with 144,000 members.

@@WilliamWadsworth-qz8pn most don’t see the narrative breaks between judgements, as seen between the 6th and 7th trumpets, the 6th trumpet narrative ends at 9:21, from 10:1 to 11:14 we read of 7 sealed thunders, the bitter book, two witnesses and the temple, then we read of the 7th trumpet beginning at 11:15.
Other narrative breaks are recorded as well. Take the 6th vial for instance 16:12-16, it records the armies being gathered for Armageddon, but we don’t actually read of the battle until chapter 19, the reason one can know it’s the Armageddon battle is due the beast and false prophet being cast into the lake of fire 19:20, and Satan being bound the 1000 years 20:1-3.
If one continues to read past Satan being bound, vs 4-5 and 6 make one think the first resurrection occurs after Satan is bound, but when read closer it shows in vs 4 the souls beheaded with those not having taken the mark reigning with Christ 1000 years, whereas vs 5 shows the rest of the dead lived not until after the 1000 years. Showing the location of the two resurrections, one prior the 1000 years and one after.
Thats what prophecy is, broken and mixed between books, chapters and verses, hidden yet recorded. Same applies with Jesus’ parables, each fit within the prophesies, it’s in understanding the hidden meaning of parables that allows one to place them within the proper prophecy.
      Thanks for the chat!!
