This is easily one of the most beautiful vehicles and toys ever created. I was thrilled when one of my friends helped me bag The Saga Collection one back in 2002 and put an end to 18 years of waiting. And for my birthday this year, one of the things my wife got me was a set of repro stickers off eBay to dress it up a bit. So, yeah, you can definitely get repro stickers for this thing!
This is a total most wanted vehicle in the TVC community - I'd LOVE to get this finally. It's the one glaring ship omission in my collection and a centerpiece for a few really cool scenes in ROTJ. I would love to see them do it just a bit bigger and have a better ramp with foot pegs for Vader and the Emperor to come down. Maybe the struts could tuck in when you put the ramp back up. I think bar none - it needs those beautiful blue engine lights and I'd love to see them on the wing tips with the white flashers. That would really make the whole ship come "alive" so to speak.
Just saw this video. Great one thanks! I never had it as kid always wanted it, but about 10 years ago I got one close in the box ! Still havent opened it ! I might soon.
I had one of these. Awesome toy!! It mysteriously disappeared from my parent's house while I was overseas and I could never get an explanation out of my Mom about what happened to it.
I want my shuttle back please. Those dang kids stole it and took it to the forest moon of Endor. From there I didnt know where was at. Until I found this video.
The thing with the wing guns is that they rotate 90 degrees outward when the wings are folded. (If you want to stay faithful to the studio model.) You can actually see this in the film clip at 9:20. as the wings are about halfway down, the guns are at 45 degrees to the direction of travel. ILM geared them with the wing along with the landing gear and I would LOVE to see inside that model!
Yup. The wing cannons should be installed so that when the wings are in flight position, the barrels are at the top, and when the wings are in landing position, the cannons fold up at an angle. When they did the Freakin' Abominably Overpriced Schwarz version, they all had the wing cannons installed upside-down; that's where a lot of the confusion comes from, I think.
This is/ has been, my favorite star wars vehicle since return of the jedi came out. I still have my childhood one in my collection, other than some yellowing, it looks like new! I only recently learned that it is slow transport. I always pictured it to be a super-fast, super-sleek, shuttle, worthy if transporting the emperor, or lord vader. That news was somewhat disappointing, but I still just love this design. When I originally saw the name of your channel, I clicked on it because my favorite ship is this vehicle. Keep up the good work.
Such an awesome ship! I also didn't know this toy existed as a kid. I had the mini-rig but don't think i even made the connection to the proper Lambda class.
This was one of those ships that I always wanted, because I saw them advertised in the pack-in mini-catalogs that came with "Star Wars" vehicles, back then. (The other one was the Tatooine Skiff.) I wanted both of those SO BADLY, but had to wait until they got re-released.
Really disappointed that Hasbro did not remake this Imperial Shuttle to celebrate ROTJ's 40's anniversary this year! This vehicle is iconic to ROTJ, I think.
The Ramp always annoyed me until I found out the Dimensions of the Stage Prop was changed just to better utilize the Ramp, but it's not the same design as the model, we just assume it's the same.

I am picturing this with the Legacy Falcon level entry ramp with light, sounds and slow lowering feature! Would be amazing! Thanks

I remember seeing this vehicle in the toy shop back in the day and being struck at just how big the box was
Cadillac of space ships! I really like count dookus solar sailor
Both unique ships! Thanks
If I remember correctly you can perfectly fit the ISP-6 in the shuttle's interior.

@@Beedo_Sookcool Hasbro also got it wrong on the Saga release. The box art, too.
I have always wanted to get an Imperial Shuttle! I will have to pick up one off of Ebay.
This is an awesome ship although the shipping is outrageous. Thanks
@@tydiriumhanger1320 Very true.
My fav ship. I never had it as a kid but the kids down the street did. It always pissed me off lol
That was how I felt about the ATAT. LOL Thanks

I always wondered why this ship never hits top 10 vehicle lists on UA-cam. It has been my #1 for over a decade. Glad you enjoyed! Thanks
Hasbro must reissue this or make a new one for the Vintage Collection.

Always liked that design

i have one of these! but im missing a front gun and windsheild
I wish they’d reissue one. Make it a little bigger. Or, better yet, a 6in Black series scale

LUKE: The droids were looking for "KAY BEE", have you heard of him?
OBI WAN: I have not heard that name for a very long, long time.
LOL It seems so long ago!!!! I miss Kay Bee! Thanks
I own a target exclusive of this.
I felt like I was dreaming when Target had one for only $60 bucks back then! Thanks
Wasn't there an updated version like 2005 /2006?
Yes it was the same mold with a different paint scheme and no electronics. Man I should have touched on that one also! Thanks
Tydirium hanger it was 2002 the Saga I remembered when I was collecting Star Wars.
mine doesnt have a battery section. its flat plastic
yours must be one of the newer reissues but those are still great
I can’t seem to find a middle fin for the life of me
