Absolutely THRILLED to hear that EA will no longer have an exclusive licence. Just look at the trailer for the Lego game, and it’s obvious that there are studios out there with far more love for Star Wars than EA ever had. Hopefully the next decade will be a lot more satisfying. In fact, a more serious Skywalker saga game would be phenomenal!

The sad part about EA they have good developers they just always rush and hand cuff them. Like the people who Made 2042 and BF2 aren't capable of making a good game if you allow them to.
We are gonna get more Star Wars games between 2022 -2025 than EA gave us in an entire decade. It’s nice to have all these games but sad to think we went 10 years with only a few games
Be happy that we only got few games, look at the movies and series and tell me more is better, i would actually be happy with 1 okay star wars game every decade instead of Disney realising 15 movies/shows and not a single one of them is worth watching or makes anything better (just way way worse) and ofc gj Disney closing the probably greatest video game company in LucasArts...
But hey what you expect if you give untalented Corporate people a franchise like star wars (unlimited potential on money making, look as Georges Lucas and how he managed it, (he allowed people to creat good star wars content the only restriction was can't screw up the story, Disney fuuck the story, but let's find people who we gonna pay to make star wars (works great star wars without pation (or the basic understanding how the universe function) but hey at least they will change in the coming 5 years or star wars will be a dead proberty (more or less already is)

@@Bromag118 depends what you define as good, i would say the the shows where absolut garbage and a disgrace for star wars (still 100x better than the movies). If you think a soul-less series with bad written characters, bad implemented fanserivies, and absolute no logic in it is good okay everybody has his Owen standards. But hey i also hated Zack Snyders justice league more then the original, and think the new Batman movie is shit, so yeah maybe my standards are just to high.

Re: Fallen Order, I REALLY hope they continue to follow Kal Kestes, i fell in love w/ that game, one of my favorites of all time.
I'm too in love with the game and Cal's arc.. but continuing a great character development arc is actually a high risk. Either it's still gonna be good or they'll ruin the character.
They need to scrap the parkour style maps and make it a real open world game, you can still have all the fancy wall running, rope swinging type stuff without the parkour layout. Also add a LOT more content. Don’t get me wrong I loved the game too, but navigating the map felt like a chore most of the time and the lack of content left it with not much replay ability

I think a game similar to Episode III: Revenge of the Sith would be cool. An arena style saber dueling game with a larger roster of Jedi and Sith as well as a broad variety of maps with a not-so-complicated control system that has a skill gap involved would be nice

I don’t think EA has anything to loose with making a battlefront lll. I mean they already have a huge failure on their hands with 2042. They know they could make quick bank by even doing a small battlefront game. As long as it’s multiplayer. So why not just make a full scale one. Recycle a little from ll and add the stuff they didn’t. It’s not that hard

I want a game, or TV Show, about the story of Qui Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan from their initial meeting until episode I. It would be so interesting to see when they went to Mandalore to protect Satine, and it couldn't be more relevant than now

The game that I am most excited for is probably Nights of the Old Republic remake I love the original and I can’t wait to see what the do with this one
It’s gonna look great with current technology. This combined with a modernised gameplay (but not throwing the magic it had away) could be the best Star Wars game ever

I honestly think a combat overhaul would be cool ( not that I hated it, but it was built in the time and I think a different combat style could be its thing). I dont however want them to touch the story.
@@dredgendorchadas6770 I 100% think they will recontextualize stuff in the story to make it official canon, will also probably examine how the force works to make it line up with George Lucas's original vision in the same way Fallen Order does.

My number 1 hyped game is definitely Eclipse. I've never played a Quantic Dream game before but the rumor is that it's not like their previous games so I don't know if that really matters. What I've heard about it has me mega hyped, though. High Republic, branching storylines, choice and consequence? Can't go wrong there! But I'm just hyped for all of it, to be honest, and I'm really hoping that Ubisoft's open world game is a bit more sandboxy than anything we've seen in the past... I'd rather it be Jedi-focused than bounty hunter-focused but either way, I want a game that lets me truly LIVE in the Star Wars galaxy. Honestly, I wish that Lucasfilm Games would contract Bethesda or CDPR to do an open world sandbox Star Wars game... both get a lot of hate (Bethesda's hate is somewhat justified since Microtrash bought them) but they still make my favorite games.
I hope eclipse is like rdr2 or fallout where theres so much to do and you can interact with everyone and do whatever you want really. We are in dire need of a good star wars game and I feel the high republic is a great place to start
@@cowboy_levi6283 My thoughts EXACTLY. Honestly, as much as I love companies like CDPR and Bethesda (pre-Microsoft, at least), I'd be fine with any studio doing it if the game was sandboxy like RDR2. It doesn't even have to be some gargantuan world like RDR2, just having medium-size open maps with sandbox activities would be enough for me. Honestly speaking, as much as people hate on it, I really would love to see a Star Wars game in the vein of Cyberpunk 2077: an open world with a narrative focus, but with sandbox elements to make you feel like you're 'living' in the game world.
I don't think CDPR is capable of doing another Star Wars, they haven't even done 2077

One of the most popular games of the 90s was Star Wars: Tie Fighter. It gave a new perspective in playing and it didnt submit to "there's a good guy in every bad guy" trope like what we saw with Inferno Squad. I would LOVE to see a game centered around the efforts of the Empire. As in all conflict, there are heroes on both sides.
All I want is a TIE Fighter remake in 3D. Not the BS that Squadrons turned out to be.
Battlefront 3 is by far my most wanted game but Empire at war would absolutely be my second. Although i’d want it in the style of the total war games ideally

If they focus on an open world Star Wars game with a lightsaber combat system with the likes of For Honour tweaked to also block blaster fire you will have a solid game right there. Even release it as a demo to find bugs ect. While fans are happy having fun with the amazing new combat the developers can work on a few planets to start and aswell as adding a land to space travel system and hyperdrive to travel to other systems allowing for some factions to set up space blockades to truely give smugglers a place in the Star Wars gaming universe. And having a rouge droid factions to have a AI for the pve players in the universe to fight. Allowing the flesh characters to remain to the players leaving all the AI to the droids for purchasing things with galactic credits

Like Force Unleashed, in the 1st game you can either join the Rebels and Die or Stay with the Empire and hunt down Luke Skywalker on Hoth.

i remember watching the reveal of KOTOR remake and i pretty much celebrated as soon as i saw that golden gauntlet
I guess the ubisoft game (if it really is a bounty hunter thing) will go somewhere like AC odyssey and valhalla with places where you can pick up contracts to make money, have your own ship to travel around and upgrade (and enter fights while traveling) and maybe some star wars themed new mechanics like the ones we have seen in watchdogs.
The mention of Star Wars Empire At War made my day. That game was phenomenal and I would love to see a remake to it or at least something similar.
I cried when I heard KOTOR. It will be so beautiful, the people they have working on it, the compacity they have to offer in immense, I cannot wait for this Masterpiece ..

Just a note from the land of SWTOR. In the new expansion the final of the two "chapters" takes place on a world that a fellow named "Darth Null" had as his fortress etc. We have a sun in a constant state of eclipse there. Related? Bioware/EA and you have to even ask?

Love Quantic Dreams stuff -- excited about Star Wars Eclipse. It will be probably be highly story-driven and less trigger-happy than FPS.
I am in full support of all these games coming out, but I honestly don't really care about all of this hype as much until Battlefront III gets announced. Don't get me wrong, these games seem pretty fun, but it still feels like you are missing something. The way I feel about this is that you are very hungry and so you go to a restaurant to get full only to come out not satisfied. You are still full, but not satisfied.

I’m just excited that it’s finally happening, I hope they don’t screw with the story or characters. I’m fine with them adding additional content but don’t change the characters in the process.
Also how did Phil Spencer not get this? Kotor is an Xbox legacy title, I’m disappointed that he wasn’t the one to fund this project.

Me too, We almost got Force Unleashed 3 before Disney came along.
I just want a non Lego play through of each episode as a specific character. Ep 1 I would love to play as Obi Wan, following Qui Gon, Ep 2 it would be cool to play as Greivous though a Clone like Rex or Cody would be cool as well, Ep 3 Anakin as he struggles with the Jedi order and palpatines influence. Ep 4 I would say Luke but I think it would be even cooler as Han. Ep 5 Vader. 6 Luke.
Man, I am the MOST excited for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel, AND Quantic Dreams’ Star Wars Eclipse, AND the Star Wars open world game. Hopefully that game and the Jedi: Fallen Order sequel will be revealed at Star Wars Celebration in April.
Odd Disney Stars hasn't tapped the cash cow of the City Building Genre, or Disney Star Wars Tycoon simulators. Imagine playing as Lando as an Adminstrator of Bespin, or Leia as a politician for Dantooine, or Boba as a crime lord for Tatooine, all trying to assert power for their locale, and the galaxy...
Open world Star Wars game where you can play as customizable bounty hunter and have tons of different missions in different planets and in space would be hella nice. You could upgrade your ship and maybe buy companions, different weapons, better armor and so much more, and The game would be Bethesdas open world style, like in skyrim but waayy bigger, fromsoftwares difficulty like in elden ring or dark souls etc etc
Would be dope but if they do a dark souls style they need to add a Jedi option no excuses

What's it promising? I've only seen they made a change to how classes work so now you can be for example both a sith marauder and a jedi shadow in one character. But who really cares? This game is mostly just played for the story anyway, so I don't mind creating a new character to level up. It's not like WoW where you only care about the end game, it's the exact opposite, you don't care about the end game because it sucks, but the story is good.
It ended up being shit, an hour of content. More failure from bioware/ea

You can play as both palpatine and bb8, they dont care about in universe power for the heroes lmao.
Fun fact: Disney was actually considering making Starkiller canon as one of the Inquisitors in Rebels, but that was eventually scrapped.

I want a game like 1v1 competitive fighting style where the lightsaber are complex to use to their fullest and are accurate and there’s multiple characters and arenas and in those you can throw objects that are in the background

It would be nice to see a AAA rpg Star Wars game. Based off your decisions you become Jedi ,sith or grey Jedi . Train under certain Jedi or sith by obtaining special rewards. Just after they finish the fallen order
I'm most excited for fallen order sequel I just recently beat fallen order and was really impressed with what respawn did. The story was really good, the combat was excellent, kinda mad I didn't play it sooner but I'm not a big starwars guy

Eclipse, Fallen Order II, KOTOR, and the Ubisoft open-world game are must haves for me. They got my money guaranteed.

Is Eclipse still coming? I heard some news saying that it was going to get scrapped due to the game being too much to handle or something like that.
It’s still coming, just having trouble with the game engine, but they’re upgrading it.
I got a playstation to play the KOTOR remake and I honestly just want a graphics overhaul and a fighting system rework. It would be amazing if you could play it in first person like battlefront or fallen order and you could change which character you are in the perspective of. It would be so awesome

Also Battlefront needs to do DLC’s for Battlefront 2 adding Content including
-Characters from each era
-more maps of planets we already have seen as well as planets we haven’t seen in the battlefront.
-New Campaigns including characters from the movies (Obi-Wan episodes I-III, Luke Skywalker Episodes IV-VI, and Finn Episodes VII-IX)
I don't play Battlefront 2, how did EA abandon it? Are Battlefront 2015 & Battlefront 2 still worth playing in general & playing online? I've just bought both games as there was a huge sale on Steam for them, worried I won't get as much out of them as I initially thought

If you're right about Eclipse being an open world merge with the Detroit: Become Human style gameplay and the choices you make effect the story as much as in Detroit, and the characters we play as are as extensive as Quantic Dream have claimed then I'm not surprised they've had to delay the game another 4 years. Because if we're actually talking about a choice based story Star Wars game, in an open galaxy, spanning over 5 different characters with intertwined stories, then this is one of the biggest game projects that has ever been attempted. So they're gonna need time to get it right. And if it's all true, then I will be happy to wait as long as it takes to be right
I really hope, praying even, for another republic commando game. Like I feel like their stories are left out and one could make great story based games around them. Hell, even the Null-Arc troopers would do good for a RC type game
I hate how Jedi Academy is overlooked, it had imo the best lightsaber combat of all time and with the movie duels mod it still has a pretty decent player base. A game with a modernized version of that games mechanics could be elite.

A destiny-like Star Wars game with a little Sea of Thieves and No Mans Sky sprinkled in would be absolutely perfect, being able to fly between worlds like Tatooine and Hoth, spaceship battles, picking able to pick begseen classes like bounty hunter, jedi knight, inquisitor and more, would be soo amazing, being able to complete missions and raid places for credits would be so much fun what do you guys think?

They‘re both experts in their field and especially Rocksteady know how to deal with a great lore and the Arkham Fighting mechanics are still just insane!

Always wanted an open world bounty hunter game my only hope apert from it not being a flop is that you have full customisation over your character like I want cad band with his hat obviously but then with mandos armour and bobas jet pack in all black
The game i'm excited about the most is Jedi fallen order sequel and the open world Star Wars game. I really liked the story and the gameplay in Fallen Order so im super hyped how they going to continue in the sequel. And for the open world, I really hope its an MMORPG. I like meeting new people and the star wars universe.. so that would be literally a big win

MMORPG? There's already SWTOR and it sucks as an MMO, as a single player game it has a great story, but no reason to be an MMO.
I hope eclipse will be an rpg that doesn't force you to be a Jedi or a sith so you can just be a mandalorian bounty hunter or something similar

I just want a good Star Wars MMO. Since New World flopped the MMO genre has been kind of dry and I think a Star Wars MMO with good graphics and combat would be absolutely perfect.

What about a Star Wars game set over the course of the clone wars with you being switched between a variety of characters with there own storylines such as Kit Fisto, Plo Koon, Commander Cody, Rex and Ahsoka
