Season 2 also tended to cover up Hawk's wins, such as the headband exercise where he managed to out-last everyone but Miguel and Stingray. I would've been cool to see some of his wins there.

Cobra Kai is a fraternity, Its possible Mike Barnes hired Johnny out of respect to Kreese and Silver, but was a F'UP! As soon as Johnny started Cobra Kai, Kreese, Silver and Barnes didnt want it get messed up, so they jumped in. I see Johnny getting the shit kicked out of him by Barnes, then Silver. I still think Tory is Terry's daughter. Johnny said he never met Terry Silver. Mike Barnes was not mentioned at the All Valley meeting in season one. Interesting.
I think that Tory's actions in the school fight cost her the job she had in Season 2 so she starts getting her money from an underground fight club, and she goes to Miyagi Do to challenge Sam to come and fight her there.

It seems to me they are trying to pack a LOT of material into this season which makes me wonder if we will be left with a lot of unfinished plotlines carrying over to season 4. Almost like season 4 is the second half of season 3.
Yeah they’ll be a season 4 it’s confirmed but right now it’s in training so I guess that’s another way of saying their in early production for making that season so by 2023 it should be out at least that’s what I think

Note how in the “Arcade” scene where Sam beats up someone, her clothing is the same from when she was crying on her mom’s shoulder in the teaser. And when Amanda slapped Kreese, the clothing was also the same. I assume Sam was hurt and maybe she fought Tory and gets injured. Which is why Amanda blames Kreese for what happened
Interesting observations! When you mentioned the song at the end and Johnny looking sharp it makes me think he's meeting up with Ali with an I in the last shot of the season much like how they introduced Creese into the series in Season 1. This is my prediction.

When johnny kicks the door down at cobra kai he is wearing the same shirt when he went to that fancy party. Maybe this is in chronological order? Kyler was a wrestler and the writers never gave him the credit a wrestler deserves. I wrestled and took Karate and wrestling ain't no joke. I also boxed. And out of all the training i did wrestling was by far the toughest. And wrestling helped me win a lot of fights.
I think Tory and Sam reluctantly team up for some reason this season. Seems like Tory is in some sort of financial trouble and for some reason she may not want the cobra kais involved. Also, I also think Miguel won't be in fighting shape this season. We may see him make some great progression at the end of the season but it'd kinda takeaway from the severity if hes just fine half way through the season.

Here’s something: I was just looking through Netflix coming soon tv shows, and there are some coming Jan 5, but they say the day and month. Cobra Kai just says coming January, neither coming January 1st or 8th. It seems like they wouldn’t be so vague for no specific day, especially on a top charts show like Cobra Kai. I think it’s super possible that they’re keeping it a secret surprise for January first.

I think that the dudes in the garage beat up drunk Johnny at the beginning of episode 1 and steal & strip his car. Likely Trey and Cruz are with the dudes and they recognize each other . Johnny calls cops and they just see a drunk to take off to jail. This also may be another reason Johnny will leap in to strike first.
In regards to Miguel's recovery, it could he comparable to boxer Vinny Pazienza when he broke his neck in a car crash. It took him about 3 months to recover although in the movie Bleed for This they increased it to 6 months. So 3-6 months is the recovery time that we're looking at for Miguel.
I think when hawk turn back and saw kyler his face went from 🙂 to 😕 and it connects with the karate kid 1 when Johnny see’s Daniel Bc the fought just like hawk and kyler and he might tell his sensei and they will probably fight again

The reason it’s Sam’s fault is because she originally accused Tory of stealing her mums wallet, that started it. Then she kissed Miguel even though she knew it was wrong and she thought no one was watching. Robby wouldn’t be in Juvy, Miguel wouldn’t be in hospital, none of it would have happened if she had a sense of integrity.

Being that they're following the same path as KK (season 1/part 1 climax = all valley, season 2/part 2 = no holds barred), I'm guessing season 3 will take place at the all valley again. It'll be assumed by all the characters that Miguel won't be recovered enough to compete. Hawk will finally stop getting his ass kicked, and sweep the entire tournament, including Robby. Just before Hawk is announced as winner, Miguel will make an epic last minute return. Announcer - "Miguel Diaz is going to fight!" Remember, the champs only have to defend in the finals. That's the way it was in KK3. Edit: I'm also predicting that Miguel will visit Robby in jail to say that he forgives him, and they too will also team up this season, following a similar arch to Daniel and Johnny.
I think the reason Amanda slaps Kreese is because her mother instincts kicked in: when they let Robby stay at the LaRusso's house, Amanda realized how good of a kid Robby is. So, if Kreese somehow gets Robby to join Cobra Kai and turns him bad, then I wouldn't be surprised if Amanda confronts Kreese and slaps him.
For anyone wondering, yes, it is releasing on New Year's Day. When you go on Netflix is says that the release date is January 1st instead of January 8th!

Interesting observations! When you mentioned the song at the end and Johnny looking sharp it makes me think he's meeting up with Ali with an I in the last shot of the season much like how they introduced Creese into the series in Season 1. This is my prediction.

When johnny kicks the door down at cobra kai he is wearing the same shirt when he went to that fancy party. Maybe this is in chronological order? Maybe he goes and sees Ali and she somehow convinces him to go and get his dojo back but then kreese and johnny have a fight and thats why kreese's nose is all bloody?

Kyler was a wrestler and the writers never gave him the credit a wrestler deserves. I wrestled and took Karate and wrestling ain't no joke. I also boxed. And out of all the training i did wrestling was by far the toughest. And wrestling helped me win a lot of fights.
I think Tory and Sam reluctantly team up for some reason this season. Seems like Tory is in some sort of financial trouble and for some reason she may not want the cobra kais involved. Also, I also think Miguel won't be in fighting shape this season. We may see him make some great progression at the end of the season but it'd kinda takeaway from the severity if hes just fine half way through the season.

Here’s something: I was just looking through Netflix coming soon tv shows, and there are some coming Jan 5, but they say the day and month. Cobra Kai just says coming January, neither coming January 1st or 8th. It seems like they wouldn’t be so vague for no specific day, especially on a top charts show like Cobra Kai. I think it’s super possible that they’re keeping it a secret surprise for January first.
I want to point out that the shirt that johnny is wearing to the "christmas party" under the white jacket is the same shirt he wears when we see him going into cobra kai to kick a door down, don't know if that's significant but i think it could lead to something

I think that the dudes in the garage beat up drunk Johnny at the beginning of episode 1 and steal & strip his car. Likely Trey and Cruz are with the dudes and they recognize each other . Johnny calls cops and they just see a drunk to take off to jail. This also may be another reason Johnny will leap in to strike first.
In regards to Miguel's recovery, it could he comparable to boxer Vinny Pazienza when he broke his neck in a car crash. It took him about 3 months to recover although in the movie Bleed for This they increased it to 6 months. So 3-6 months is the recovery time that we're looking at for Miguel.

The reason it’s Sam’s fault is because she originally accused Tory of stealing her mums wallet, that started it. Then she kissed Miguel even though she knew it was wrong and she thought no one was watching. Robby wouldn’t be in Juvy, Miguel wouldn’t be in hospital, none of it would have happened if she had a sense of integrity.

Being that they're following the same path as KK (season 1/part 1 climax = all valley, season 2/part 2 = no holds barred), I'm guessing season 3 will take place at the all valley again. It'll be assumed by all the characters that Miguel won't be recovered enough to compete. Hawk will finally stop getting his ass kicked, and sweep the entire tournament, including Robby. Just before Hawk is announced as winner, Miguel will make an epic last minute return. Announcer - "Miguel Diaz is going to fight!" Remember, the champs only have to defend in the finals. That's the way it was in KK3. Edit: I'm also predicting that Miguel will visit Robby in jail to say that he forgives him, and they too will also team up this season, following a similar arch to Daniel and Johnny.
I think the reason Amanda slaps Kreese is because her mother instincts kicked in: when they let Robby stay at the LaRusso's house, Amanda realized how good of a kid Robby is. So, if Kreese somehow gets Robby to join Cobra Kai and turns him bad, then I wouldn't be surprised if Amanda confronts Kreese and slaps him.
For anyone wondering, yes, it is releasing on New Year's Day. When you go on Netflix is says that the release date is January 1st instead of January 8th!
