- Today we will be unboxing and reviewing the McFarlane Toys DC multiverse RED DEATH vs FLASH action figure two pack. I've also included the basic single carded release of the Flash in this video rather than make a new video just for a single figure that is 99% the same as the two pack release.

It would have been interesting if Macfarlane had paint this figures like they used to do it back in the day with the movie maniacs collection, they had awesome shadows and weathering
Just received my Dawnbreaker this morning from my Amazon UK preorder. Great figure.
The price of the single release Flash is pretty up there now.
Not sure why. It's a good figure, but not THAT good.
They need to make Reverse Flash
a must have.

My copy of the single Flash figure also has the warping of the hip piece and the miss alignes ear wings. I was going to try the hot water process to fix it. Good to know that that will actually work.
I used Stocktrack to see which Wal Mart has them. And to my disappointment no new DC figures on the shelf.
However EB Games surprised me with the newest DC Multiverse figures.
Have to say the single pack Flash was the one I was most looking forward to. The lightning effects are dope. Mattel tried but those soft plastic on the lightning effects don't hold very well and doesn't look as dynamic. Todd even made the back lightning articulated. Attention to detail there
My only issue with the single Flash is the way they packaged him. Not just because the plastic gets warped but because I wasn't able to see some paint imperfections on the figure :(
And also the warped plastic is annoying, it can be fixed but some of my joint got loose after heating the figure.
I just wish McFarlane would work on proportions and anatomy a bit. And man they need to ditch that diaper design. The upcoming bizarro figure they are doing looks cool. I just wish McFarlane would work a bit on more sensical articulation as well. There's room for improvement for sure. But they are getting better. Hopefully we start getting more figures that aren't Batman related. I want to build a league. They should be building rosters. Teen titans, martian manhunter,. Justice league, justice league dark, maybe the outsiders. Kind of tired of all the damn Batman figures.

Hello Brad, surprised you never mention the big gap between waist piece and lower torso piece. Your shots of the Flash figure were either at level or low angle, but I believe I saw a little of the gap on Flash, which seems similar to the Detective 1000 Batman gap. Got the Batman and was surprised how terrible that gap looks when you’re looking down at the figure. Makes Batman look like his pants are to big, no wonder he needs a utility belt, to keep his pants up.
Would greatly appreciate a kitbash video to correct issues with figures!

I got the Two pack and a single flash And I customize one I did the neck mod I did a thighs swivel Waste and I repaint yellow Lines throughout the figure I like MacFarland action figure they are awesome my favorite superhero is Superman so I’ve been starting customizing my own Superman’s just started like three weeks I am doing cloth goods and I’m just learning and they are coming out awesome

1-I have the basic Flash figure, and luckily I didn't have the same problems as you, a shame that yours came like this, how good you were able to solve it.
2-What are the figures of Jay Garrick and Bart Allen? (12:13) And that of the Martian manhunter? (12:16)

It looks like you got the regular release hands on the two pack. Some people got the clenching hands some got the regular hands from what I've head. On Flash specifically.
My 2 pack flash had 2 open running hands. which is ok ,like it better. Plus can always switch with the other one if i want a close fist .

Those figures look oh so good. I’m still trying to find the mezco flash for a reasonable price. But those dang eBay scalpers just keep jacking up the price

I love the Red Death figure but MacFarlane seems to have done their own thing with the design somewhat as it looks different to the design in the comics, especially with the lighter reds. Also the rocky base is just odd, expecting it to have proper foot placements, it doesn't, just two pegs. Odd.
i love the Dark Knights this review on Red Death and Flash may be from last year but i love how all the Dark Knights are designed and their names are the same to Batman as Bruce Wayne except for one being a girl named Bryce Wayne I wish for him to continue making more of the Dark Knights theirs still more of Batman being merged with heroes and most merged with villains like theirs a merge of Martian Manhunter Batman named Mindhunter and some with villains named The Batman Who Frags a lobo type Batman to Batmazo a Batman and Amazo type batman and lastly Darkfather a Batman and Darkseid merger of Darkfather

This figure looks nothing like the Flash Rebirth suit lol... I read those comics and this figure just doesn't get anything right, its a decent flash figure on its own but shouldn't be branded Rebirth in my opinion
My plastic was also warped. No problems with the head but the belt for me has a really flimsy paint job and it's rubbing off. Really not happy with this otherwise amazing figure

I don't understand how they screw up articulation like that ab joint. Do they even have a prototype stage where they can test these things? Maybe have, I don't know, an engineer look over them? So stunningly amateurish. Like they're design by Coneheads who don't know what action figures are.
