Based on the hints we got Arknights universe is taking place near the end of the universe, The End. If you search about Heat Death, just reading a couple paragraphs you will get an idea why the Precursor race created Originium and Caerula Arbor or Seaborn. Here's what more interesting, it could be both. Firts the Heat Death and then the Big Crunch. It's a wild guess based on the PV5, the scene at 00:40 where there's bunch of circle im guessing it's a stars, planet etc getting pulled into one point. Honestly the existence of the Observer is just an illusion. Because you need this kind of mysterious entity for the story. That's why the existence of Priestess is important.
