Looking forward to this, I really like how at least 4 (by my count) manufacturers are coming out with ready made forces, besides the old 2mm standby of Irregular.
@@johnmumby5823 Sure, Warbases, Lasercast in Australia, Antonine (sold by Warbases, so I might have double counted them), and Korhyl Miniatures. I thought someone else was doing laser cut figure blocks, maybe I was assuming it was Warbases.
Remarkable in concept, execution, and support too, as this epic game rolls out onto the tabletop far and wide! (and can GENUNIELY can feel the EPIC here!)
Yes, I’ve got enough for any armies in the main book in 4 boxes that together take up 30x30cm and are less than 15cm deep stacked on top of one another!
Great to hear you are enthused and ready to go Andy. Your legions did well against the Helvetii at Warfare. Will you fare as well against the mighty Parthians or other rival Roman legions though?😉
@@Rehistoriaa How on earth would it be viable to make rules free to download? The rules are available in the European Union via Karwansaray in the Netherlands. You can purchase a hard copy or PDF version for immediate download.
The rules are firmly focussed on the Roman world currently but may be expanded in the future to cover later periods. No reason why you can’t try 2mm and other Medieval rule sets for Mongols though?
Hopefully something to make you think a bit differently about how battles could look in your wargames. There is no right way to have a wargame but just what works for you. Thanks for your interest!🙂
This makes me so incredibly angry. I didn't need to start a new ruleset and a new couple of armies projects, yet here I am going to do it since this is so slick. Now I'm going to have to figure how to hide them from my spouse.
If 2mm is too small these will work well in 6mm or 10mm. If you prefer 15-28mm figures it’ll be fine too but will lose some of the aesthetic of the big battles we were hoping to achieve.
I have to say, this is a brilliant concept, a cardborad wargame!!!
Will be meeting Mark this evening to play S&H with him at our local club. Can’t wait, such a cool looking game.

Chris, can you name the 4 manufacturers? Thanks, John

The battles in the Ancient World were often epic in size. I wanted to try and get across the epic size of some of these battles!
Looks and sounds fab. 2mm and 6mm are my favourite scale. Been slowly phasing out my 28mm stuff.
It will work in all scales but has really been designed to support all the smaller scales.
I have been collecting files to 3d print the units and terrain for S&H. My wife will be pleased by the storage aspects!

Looks awesome. Can’t wait for more videos!
We’ve got the full 7 parts of the first series out now including a full battle report. More are in planning!
I've been really looking forward to this being released since I got to play it at Ascot in late 2021.. Already working on a 2mm Roman army..
I hear Mark was placed in the 1415 over eight furlongs!

Exciting stuff well done Mark you legend
I’m not sure a legend…!? Enthusiastic maybe?!
I have a slavers revolt army ready to go, thanks to lasercast's minis. So so good. Can't wait for the book!
I’m Spartacus!😉
The game looks Brilliant, lovely set up… looking forward to the Demos 😃👍
Cheers! I hope you enjoy them!
Looking forward to this. I intend to try it out in 6mm in the future.
Yes it works well in 6mm too. I’m hoping we can do some 6mm armies and battle reports in future too.
In Spain is impossible to get the rules. It would be great for the game if the rules were free to download! Please reconsider this issue

Getting my army ready, painting my rice and couscous grains...
Table looks awesome.
Cheers Charles! We will try to show a few different tables in the next round of videos. In smaller scales it’s very easy to do.
This fascinates me because of a scenario I would like to try with Mongols. There are a lot of what ifs involving them.

im keen to see the rules!
Out on Monday 25th April. Get your pre-orders in for the free printable units and PDF of the rules too.
Many good things come in small packages.
True true. All scales will work for these rules though if you don’t currently have 2mm forces.
Not my period at all, but I am very intrigued, I admit.

Luckily they are easy to store and not going to break the bank. Easier to set out and pack away too!
@@markbackhouse3372 2mm does indeed have distinct marriage saving properties.
A unit of Germans could be a salada crisp with smoked salmon and cracked pepper sprinkled over the top. Whoever kills the unit eats it
you might aswell paint rocks
Why’s that Chris?
