Honestly Padington is very underrated. This bear, like batman, lost his parents, he then lost his uncle and his home. He found a family in London, but was nearly taxidermized by an evil collector and then was put in jail for a crime he didn't commit. After all that trauma, he still cares about others and tries to improve the lives of those around him. That bear represented an everyday hero and has the mental strength of a tank!
paddington is literally my entire memory of being ages 5-6 and thats fine by me

Hippos aren't vegetarians, they are omnivores, they no joke play origami with antelope spins and they kill lions and gators on a regular basis.
They don’t eat meat though, the eat *g r a s s* though, I don’t know much about hippos.

Hippos are vegetarian, but I imagine that it's hard to control how many fish get tangled up in the grasses and whatever.
That being said, Rhinos are also vegetarian and are still known to kill things, and no matter what animal it is, it's always about territory or protection.

1:20 is literally me. I'm not even kidding, I'd much rather be alone but two months ago I accidentally took on the role of saving an entire fandom and I haven't been able to stop. Still, it's impressive what's managed to be done.

@@irishuisman1450 Not singlehandedly, I couldn't have done it alone, but I was the first (apart from another who failed years ago) who actually started doing anything and it's snowballed from there. Two months ago the Ongezellig fandom had a very meagre presence and it's been that way since 2018, there was very little content on UA-cam except for the main content and other than the Comics & Cartoon board on the 'chan (and another place, but that's for the advanced class) there was no substantial gathering elsewhere; it's incredibly difficult to discover or have suggested because of how Dutch it is, exacerbated due to its small presence, I myself only found out about it scrolling through the Farms, not least to mention the troubles it's been previously plagued with (again, advanced class).
Yet because of a fateful instance in early August, I decided to try my hand at exposing it in my local area, designing stickers, leaflets, even a digital poster for a media store chain before I tried showing it to ShyLily. That failed because I didn't understand how Twitch worked but after that we showed off a digital poster I made in Times Square, which was followed by a Russian UA-camr making a video about it all bringing in a massive influx of new fans, boosting the main content's Views Per Hour from an acceptable 100 as high as 500 VPH on some days - to a point we could even see 1m views by Christmas - while others have started making content too, mostly little edits, clips from the show and AI covers to further its exposure but it's working. And that's not even getting into the TikTok side of things.
I don't yet consider my work done, not until I'm sure the process is self-sustaining, but it's unbelievable how in a little time we managed to go from incredibly niche and obscure to achieving something like a real presence. I'm seeing so many newcomers to the fandom, so much new stuff, it's unreal. I even got to metaphorically shake the hands of so many notable figures in the fandom, even becoming one myself despite my rather asocial disposition and... it's been good, it's been bad and it definitely hasn't been easy but damn has it been worth fighting for.

the kitten in the pillow case is adorable, also random fact, we had a batch of tiny fluffballs, one of them loved to sleep in pillow cases as well. I think it's just a tiny kitten thing, the pillow case would be kinda like a safe, warm, secure cave for them.

I'm happy that you downloaded the thing about gentle parenting because I was abused and half my life i ran around claiming it made me stronger or more disiplined because i couldnt face the truth, i just wasnt mentally strong enough to, because my past has actually made me hypersensitive, i just always had supressed it. Now that I am on my way to actually heal and change into a more natural and healthy version of myself, i like to read about what is possible to allow myself to grief what I wish I would have had. So reading something like that npwadays tha I am less cynical and bitter and more mature and confideng is very constructive, even though it hurt. My hurting is valid and I can finally take myself serious in it

I've had plenty of times where I've felt awful, and everyone does. But seeing you grow and health from such an experience is beautiful.
