how to make speargun reel made of stainless (myhomemade reel)

hello everyone i made speargun reel,made of stainless and hard plastic i bought that from the junk shop i just want to share my experience to all beginners like me on how to make it. If you have suggestions on my project just comment down bellow, thank you for watching.

Nice work and nice reel , but i don't see how you adjust the drag when you can't turn the white cap on the top of the reel ( it is blocked by the wire which goes through it and the central screw of the reel ) ? I really don't realize the function of that wire through BOTH the white cap and the central screw .... Frem this point of view , you can just pre set the drag and block both the cap and the main screw ... BRGDS
