I’m L.I.T.E.R.A.L.L.Y surprised at The reaction by William and Deban. Based on Debans reaction alone, I was expecting more of that ‘completely over it’ eye-rolling ive come to love. After all most of the ballads released by other countries were deemed as ‘predictable’ and ‘bland’, I expected the same here with the accompanying eye rolls! This is probably THE most generic, dated, cheesiest ballad in the competition. Tom Leeb is clearly pedigree when it comes to vocals because he is the only good thing about the whole song, but that’s the trouble. Yet another amazing vocalist left to carry the weight of a dead song and flog it to the best of his abilities. The guy could probably sing the loca takeaway menu and make it sound pretty amazing, but this just sounds like a song that could have been released as an X-Factor winners single circa 2007.
I do love these reactions though and I enjoy predicting how the Wiwi team are going to react 😂

Youre always overrating trashy cheesy dated handsome men songs like this, or that trashy song of Uku Suviste. This is a strong contender for my 42nd place. Im so sad that they removed destination eurovision for this non-sense song of Thomas G:son. And there will be no Real eiffel tower etc. İ will be so happy if france got 26th place this year. (and i loved every single french entry since 2016)

I don't know, Germany seems to be doing pretty good with their Benjamin Ingrosso song also written by Swedish songwriters.

I'm realistic : I have 2 citizenships : French and Canadian. I have more chance of living a Eurovision win with my canadian one. really. I'm not sure about the ''why invest that much with the eiffel tower and everything if they don't have big plans for Rotterdam.?'' .... unfortunatly maybe ...THAT was their only plan for Rotterdam. I totally see them doing not much else (Reasons you ask ? 1- because we haven't won for centuries and nobody in France even believes anymore 2- negativity in the national religion let's face it.Depression comes second .3 - they spent everything on his looks and on the tower... there's nothing left.

This is the worst ballad I've heard in a long time. You hated Slovenia's ballad for having boring verses yet you like this yawnfest? At least Voda is a genuine song. This ain't it, France.

Guilty pleasure of mine since the music was written by "Euphoria"'s composers, my favourite Eurovision song possibly of all time, but it also suffers from John Lundvik syndrome, sounding a lot like his two songs last year, and I would have really liked to have heard something new. They need to amp this up a bit, and yes, the key change helps tremendously, but it's exactly what John Lundvik and Michael Rice did last year. There's gotta be some more tricks to use.
I fell head over heals for Tom and his warm voice. And he totally sells that love song to me. I'm mezmerized. 💓
I don't see winner material in it though. (But I got a fangirl crush out of it and love Tom's own songs, so I'm happy 🤭)

If Thomas G.son and John Lundvik had entered this in Melodifestivalen, it wouldn't have made it out of Andra Chansen. This song feels generic and cheesy to me. The only reason at all that the performance works is because he's incredibly attractive and can actually sing, which come to think of it, worked well enough for Victor Crone last year, and only the former was true for him. France's hopes of staying out of the bottom five rest on the hope that Tom can bat his eyes at the camera enough times and look amazing enough for people not to care about the song itself.

At this point I'll be happy if I never hear another Thomas G:son song again. I'm over it. Tom is a very charismatic performer and has a lovely voice but with a song this dull there isn't much you can do.

I completely agree with William. Studio version doesn't do much at all but his performance, eye contact etc makes a huge difference and it becomes really enjoyable live
I'm French and super tired of our delegation using the Eiffel Tower every time they can. Plus, the song is extremely boring.
