I've never seen a better channel than you!! A video that will warm my heart when I come home from school. What could be better? Greetings from Turkey!
🇯🇵❤🇹🇷
My sentiments too!!
Oh, you are brave to sleep in that big room with unknown people! I LOVED the speeded up forklifts and people scurrying about. I have a guess that the eggs are meant to be a handle to grab onto if the sea is rough! I really enjoy your videos. I am looking forward to when I can travel to Japan and ride the rails and the ferries in person. But for now, I hope you keep bringing us your travels.
lol if you get some 1 like me sleeping next to you that would suck
i am fat and i toss and turn in my sleep non stop
expect a snuggle buddy lmao
@@whocares397 lol 😂
I took a ferry from Naha to Osaka sometime around 1974~75, during the Okinawa Expo. Very memorable experience. As a teenager with very little money I of course chose the cheapest room; probably about 30 people in one large area. Kind of fun, but the ferry at that time was quite small and boy did I get seasick. I think friends of mine called it the "gero fune" (vomit boat) 🤢. As an adult I ended up living in Japan for almost a decade, but never took another ferry. Probably because of my bad experience. But after watching your cool videos I am inspired to travel back to Japan and try again. This time will be Maizuru to Otaru in a room with a veranda 😊.....
I never knew that the ocean water was that pretty around those islands. Fun, but long journey. Thanks for the video!
I wouldn't be able to sleep so close to a stranger even the whole journey was free.
Ya, that would be a no for me too. Especially being co-ed.
I was thinking the exact same thing,no thanks.
Same. I'd need some form of a barrier.
@@y-mefarm4249 I wouldn't care, as long as they don't carry a strong body odour. Maybe that's the segregation that they need to implement 😅
@@thany3 I would worry about freaks staring at me or sneaking a touch. I know I am a very sound sleeper. And just the thought of me opening my eyes and some face is right there gawking at me would send me running. No sleep for me lol
Oh, wow! You spoil us again. You timed it right with the weather - spring has arrived in Japan! That was a really lovely trip around the islands and thank you for taking us along. The forklifts doing their thing could be set to a Strauss waltz LOL. As for the cow, it seemed pretty chilled out or bewildered. I don't know
What I love about your videos is that you try a bit of everything on your journeys around Japan and it does not fail to impress. Those sleeping quarters looked like a comfy place to crash out.
The last time I slept in something resembling a mixed room on a ferry was many years ago from Holyhead in Wales to Dun Laoghaire in Ireland - the room in question was in a lounge bar with comfy seats and one of my bags for a pillow 🤣 on an 8 hour journey across the Irish sea, which could be anything but smooth. Maybe things have greatly improved since then, I don't know. It has to be said, you wonderful Japanese have everything - including transport - down to a fine art!
Please keep up the great work.
What a fantastic way for novices to try sail/cruise type of transportation to see if they like it or not. Your vlogs are so detailed it is so pleasurable to watch your adventures. That sunset with the clouds had depth of field .. I liked that one. Thanks for travelling with us as our guide it was such a pleasure. Bushyboy Oz.
Thank you so much for sharing your travels with us. All of your videos are soothing and have helped me work my way out of anxiety attacks.
They have helped with “COVID-induced cabin fever”: because of COVID, almost nobody else wants to travel with you, it was 29 months before.I got to go out of state 😢. Every time there was a chance, a new report of COVID outbreak came out and there that chance went sadly😢
That sunset was fabulous! 🌅 I really enjoyed your voyage. It all looked amazing except... your accommodations! I can't imagine sleeping in a room of strangers and may have been tempted to sneak into a capsule 😄. But really it was interesting to see how much work the crew has and what it's like to see the working of the ferry. The food was amazing too. I'm glad you had a great trip - thank you for sharing it with us!
That might be the most crowded ferry I've seen in one of these videos
From what I understand, that 'mystery egg' on the tables is to hang your bags over so they don't slide all over. I think.
Wow! The bull in the travel crate was HUGE!
That is some good looking tonkatsu! This is one thing I like about the ferries vs. JR. It is more or less the same trainsets and the same menus, etc, with JR all over Japan. Every ferry line in Japan seems to have its own style.
I have seen rooms with some partitions and curtains in between the beds, but this I could not do. I like some privacy at least.
It was a wonderful journey, with blue seas and gorgeous sky colours. Thank you very much for sharing!
This channel has become my new therapy haha it's so relaxing and beautiful in its own way. Very unique ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for showing the different classes of ferry transportation in Japan. I have learned a lot and you make it so much fun! 👏🏻👍😋😎🍦
Your videos are getting more and more professional. I've thought of a suggestion that would help the first time viewers. If you would put a notice, in English, at the start of your videos, that explained that subtitles must be turned on and that you have a choice of languages. This would help a first time viewer. And explain that you don't talk because people don't think about subtitles unless they here talking.
Thank you so much! This helped tremendously
Thank you so much! This helped tremendously
@@laura101cookies Excellent! I hope you read this before you watched but like most people, I had to watch my 1st one twice. Usually someone writes" needs subtitles" and someone replies" you have to turn them on". And she's using more and more subtitles.
Glad I read this comment. I was just about to exit 😅
That is a gorgeous sunset! And the diorama time lapses are cool too!
That would be fun to see somewhere quite different. Beautiful weather. Interesting accommodation. Such blue and clear water
Maru-A a competing ferry company that runs from Kagoshima to Naha, is a famous ferry company that has only 15 minutes of restaurant opening hours in the morning(5:30-6:00), noon(12:30-13:00), and night.(17:00-17:30) It seems that the business hours have been extended to one hour due to many complaints from passengers.
Another great travel vlog!
Too bad about no arcade. Are the newer ferries being built without them?
First time I’ve seen so many forklifts moving cargo containers in and out. Looks like a tough job as the drivers spend as much time driving forwards as backwards.
I wonder if that egg shaped thing on the end of the tables is to hang a purse or backpack?
There were some nice shots using lighting. Great camera work 😊
Thank you for sharing ❤️👍
the egg thing is a handle for you to hold onto in rough weather when moving around the ship
I loved seeing this very much!! I had not seen thus ferry trip yet, and I enjoyed it very much. I hope you enjoyed your time there!!
Another great trip! I really enjoyed seeing so much of the loading and unloading of the ferry this time. I had no idea I'd like watching that but I do! Thanks so much for sharing! (You are the 3rd solo I've seen comment on those egg things, lol. I wish someone would ask an employee their purpose!)

Thank you sm for sharing! I enjoyed watching!🤍 keep going. ❤️❤️
Thanks to Itsuka Japan, we will soon explore the whole map of Japan)
We'll just gloss over the fact there is an active volcano just sitting there in the middle of everything like a decorative fountain or something.
another great video beautiful place ❤❤
Would be cool if you did some vids on those little islands. I am sure there is stuff for tourists to do. I didn't even know they existed until your video. All the other vloggers go to popular places. I am actually interested in the less traveled areas.
Absolutely. Yes, please.
You are doing this job very well. greetings from Turkey 🇹🇷🇯🇵❤️😇
Thank you for your these wonderful beautiful video vacations!
Wow, the dorm is way too close for me...and too low...will get dizzy feeling the boat's movement. Yes to the meal...looking good
I love the time lapse bits. Fun!
thank you for the video!
It'd be so cool to do this route and spend a day or two exploring each island
I enjoyed that very much. Thank you!
am glad you share such a wide variety of travel adventures with us - but the sleeping arrangements of this one are just not for me - first the floor - nope nada no way - and close enough to complete strangers that you can smell their breath - nope nada no way x2 - I have slept on my own for 62 yrs and not changing that any time soon 🤣😂 the rest of your trip I really find fascinating - 🇨🇦🙏😷
This type of video brings me comfort 🤍🤍
Itsuka Japan saludos desde México 🙌🙌👌👌😀😀😀 muy relajante tu paseo, gracias x compartir tus paseos
Those small shipping containers are adorable 😅
That water is so blue,it’s beautiful ❤️
wow !! great vid !! very interesting !! I like Japan !!
Beautiful sea water!
Great trip, Itsuka. Yes, Ferry with multiple stop like this is very rare. But for passenger ship, I think it's common. In my country we have many passengers ship where they route have multiple stop and the duration time is many days even close to two weeks. As far as I know, only 2 ship who has vehicle deck, mostly are passenger ship with container deck on the front.

great video thanks
Uma linda e tranquila viajem 😄
Its a nice! This video is super. Thank you!
Came across your channel Liked and Subscribed. Way back in 97 I stayed on the Island of Amami Oshima. Greetings from England
Que bonito viaje, Felicidades, lo disfruté. Cómo si hubiera estado ahí, felicitaciones 👏👏👏🇲🇽
For a shared room it looks not bad! It gives more of a hostel feel.
Love from Turkey. Everything was very nice, except for the food. It's impossible for me to eat pork in particular. But I'd still like to go and see it.🐖
Sleeping on the floor with a bunch of strangers seems odd to me...
It took a lot of courage🤣.
Precioso video.
Gracias por tener subtitulos en Español.
Saludos desde España.
At least you got the bed next to the wall. I would still have trouble sleeping in that room with strangers
This time there were not many people, which was good, but when it is crowded it would be better to have a private room👍.
Fantastic
Sleeping this way very dangerous for a young lady. 😓
Agree. If Japan has women-only train cars or metro cars because of creeps and gropers, why on earth would a solo female traveler book that open shared room? Suppose there's 15 MEN who booked the other spaces???
So good 👍👍👍👍
Lots of love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 ♥️
Je regarde depuis la France vos vidéos
25:11 Wow that was a interesting passenger. I wonder where he was going.
Dinner I would guess!
I am a Taiwanese,and I can't
understand that breakfast is curry rice
You a the best!
I think the eggs are to hold onto if the sea is rough. Other shapes might be dangerous if someone fell on them. :)
Hi, ITSUKA, I like your videos✈👍💯
😆😆😆
16:50 - The egg-like things are to hang your purse or tote-bag on.
Content all about the colour. Well done
Not for me I would want a lot more privacy than that cabin. super video though very enjoyable.
Really miss Kagojima , Sakurajima and also kurobuta
The room doesn’t seem so bad if you’re the only one in it. That’s what it looked like.
I think the egg - like things are either the young of Godzilla, or hand holds in case it gets rough. 😊🖐️
thank you for your videos,I cannot understand those who are scandalized by the sleeping arrangement..telling no westerner would do it...ahahah try go to a ferry to Sardinia, people sleep litterally on the corridors' floors to save money ( lots from North European coutries) here they provide you mats, covers and pillows, and that floor has surely been cleaned well (and no one walk over it with their shoes on)
hello you understand good english it hurts from brazil a lot your channel that i loved the most was i climbed to the top monte ran i didnt even know i had as much resources as what i could go up there with wifi a lot of show
I love your videos! Your use of the English language is like poetry. Safe travels!
Hi Itsuka.. next time try their Royal room for long voyage.. review bout the foods too. I'll be waiting for it 👋🏼
Thank you very much. Thanks for the request. I will post a video of the royal room ride 💡.
Why are these sleep places cheap if the room is empty, where only the lower space on the floor is used? They could have installed cheapest many-tiered beds to use the whole room's space rationally.
Yeah, like in an army barracks or in squid game!
I kind of balk at that pricetag. That's about the same price you get for an overnight trip from New York to Miami on an Amtrak train, and at least you don't have to share sleeping quarters with 17 other people. Plus zero amenities? That's rough.
Please, is someone out there who can tell us, what this egg-thing is, finally?
And this was a very very interesting journey again! Thank you to take us with you 👏🤩💕
someone earlier suggested that it was to hang your purse or bag over so it didn’t get thrown around and is within sight - sounds good to me - though I use a small cross body bag and would wear it even while eating - just a suggestion 🇨🇦🙏😷
I love japan
I could not sleep in that room like that with strangers.. nope
Those egg things are handles to hold onto in case the boat rocks violently.
