Instead of 25 storms, there were 14 storms this season.
Instead of 9 hurricanes, there were 8 this season.
Instead of 4 major hurricanes, there were 2 this season.
There was no cat 5 in 2022 offically (although that could change in the post-analysis with Ian)
By the way, theres still 10 days left, so it is possible we could get another storm, and the GFS is betting on a possible December hurricane in the Yucatan.
