As someone that’s bisexual AND had a friend commit suicide, this track makes me cry even though I’ve heard it a thousand times. I have an unlimited amount of respect for logic for making this and adressing the issues that come with coming out. Much love.

19 year old gay guy here, just came out to my religious leaders who used to gave me comfort...ended up condemning me and recited verse after verse on how I'm destined for hell.....I'm in a secret relationship with someone and he gave me the confidence to come out, but that moment with the pastors is just too much

The title of the song is the National Suicide Prevention line, it's the call he made. It's a real number and someone is always there, it's important people know this and maybe you could mention it. Stay safe everyone and try to take care of each other. ❤

the song title is the Suicide Prevention Hotline. When this song came out, the hotline saw like a 300% increase after the release of this song. In Verse I, he says, 'I don't wanna be alive. I just wanna die.' Spoken from the POV of the person calling the hotline. Then in Verse II with Alessia Cara, he says 'I want you to be alive.' Spoken from the POV of the operator who answers the call. Then at Verse III, he says, 'I finally wanna be alive. I don't even wanna die.' When he performed this song for the VMAs, he had a bunch of people who either were survivors of attempts of suicide, or were relatives of those who committed suicide come out on stage
Iirc it was a 30% increase which was the second biggest amount since the number went live.
The live version is good too and I cried when I saw it when he performed it my god his speech in it was amazing to.
I love how the music cuts out like that could been the end, but then you fight and it keeps going for a beautiful ending to both the song and his life

I read the most inspirational saying today…. Sometimes when things are falling apart, they may actually be falling into place… take life moment by moment don’t allow anyone or anything make you feel that life isn’t worth it, because no matter where your at there is always a way up.
I just randomly came to your page (1 year later) and perhaps it was to show me that you too as a couple are what the world SHOULD be like. I am a straight woman but just yesterday someone told me that it being gay/bi/trans etc is a sin against God. Love is love, and your reaction was straight from the heart.
