The GH writers do it again. Tackling a big disease story line to help educate as part of the story. These are such great actors. This will be a powerful story.
ALS is such a horrible disease.I lost my Dad to it;he died less than a year after diagnosis.Including my Dad,six members from my paternal grandmother's side have died from it.I hope they do this storyline with honesty, dignity and the reality of the disease.
Gregory Harrison is such a great actor and is doing a wonderful job with this story line. Looking forward to watching his character tackle this awful disease that has touched so many lives. Thank you GH writers for this powerful story.
This brings me to tears..my mother passed with AlS. in 1999.and I am so sad but happy to see this is being shown..I am glad he is sharing with his family..❤
It’s very sad 😢. He is a great actor and I’m praying that his symptoms end up being another illness that mimics ALS. I love how he supports his sons and his granddaughter Violet. I read that he may have contacted another illness possibly Lyme disease. It has similar symptoms. I would love to see Finn find the correct diagnosis.
I'm hoping they'll change his diagnosis where Finn will figure out some cure. He's good at that. Such great actors! I think Gregory Harrison only wanted a short role, from what I've read about him. He turned down role offers for years for daytime soaps. So, unless he can be talked into something, they're going to make this one of those educational storylines about ALS and we'll all be sad to see his passing away. Like we did with Sonny's Dad, Mike. ☹️
Hoping, Finn will figure out something for Gregory. I know lyme disease does mimic this. I never knew the two had the same symtoms. The writer's of the show, great job old & new writer's!!!
I’m glad that general hospital is covering AlS cuz it’s very progressive disease that has no cure. Back in high school ppl would do the ALS ice bucket challenge and at the time I thought it was just another social media trend but 8 years later I started to realize the seriousness of the disease and I wanna apologize to anyone if I’ve felt that the ice bucket challenge has caused more harm than good
This Is So Crazy I Just Barely Got To Know Gregory For A Little While And Now He Has A Disease That's Going To Killed Him. It's Not Fair I Want To Know More About Gregory Why Killed The Character So Fast. This Is What I Exactly Hate About GH They Killed The Character Too Soon And Yet I Hardly Know Gregory That Well It's Not Fair To Alexis, Chase, Finn, And Violet. So Devastating. Please Don't Let Gregory Die 🙏 🕊 😩 🥺 😭 💔
It seems on the 5/20/24 episode as if Finn and Chase father is going to die . I get this strange feeling that the next episode they are going to have him pass away. I could be wrong.
In other words, Gregory has the same disease that Stephen Hawking had. For those who don't know, it's a progressive neurological disorder. It causes the brain to stop sending signals that are needed for voluntary muscle movement like walking, talking, swallowing and eventually even breathing. Although, it stops the brain from sending signals for muscle movement, the brain's ability for thinking is left unharmed to the very end. The central nervous system is destroyed but the mind remains the same. Eventually, Gregory will eventually be the condition that Ryan Chamberlin was in and was later faking to still be in. But there is no cure, treatment or vaccination for the disease. Nobody really even knows what causes it. It's one of the most baffling diseases in the world.
Weakens muscles and impacts physical functions treatment can help but sadly no cure GH has had great storyline one being Sonny's Dad with Alzheimers. Thank you GH for covering this.

I'm so sorry. 💖
I think they will, just like they did with Mike's Alzheimer's storyline.
💯 agree well done 👍
Gregory is such a great father, he just want to see his sons happy🌺

Prayers for finn and his family
BRUH
My brother-in-law had ALS. Thank you GH for shedding national light on this robber and thief disease. So cruel. Remembering Dana with so much love!
Prayers for Finn🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
You realise that these are fictional characters right? and that prayer is not going to help them, because they're fate is in the hands of the writers.
Great scene.
I love Gregory Harrison!!! He is an amazing actor!!! He and Michael nailed this scene
Prayers for Gregory's 🙏🙏🙏

Can we get them both Emmys for these scenes?
Poor Finn & Violet.🐐🙏
Great actors.

GH never fails to disappoint or tackle the tough subjects that we so desperately need cures for 💕🙏
Let's find cures together!
Excellent work👌
Anyone who wants to hear more about ALS and just a beautiful story, the book "Tuesdays with Maury" is a must read
Now that’s a very shocking news for Finn to hear.
Those letters strike fear in the heart of all medical professionals, the look of horror in Finns face. It is the worst death imaginable.
My uncle died of ALS and it’s an awful disease - he suffered for many years.
My brother in law too, so sad
So shocking for Finn.
No volume????😢

My sister died of Lou Gehrig's disease, said thing is I didn't get to meet her. Now I visit her grave 😢
Als is a miserable disease, it took my friend #sethpoling's life last month, he was 36 years old and a family man. #endals

I'm glad Gregory told Finn he had Lou Gherigs disease.
Hopefully a misdiagnosis. I wanna see him with Tracy lol
There's a theory it's just Lyme's disease. Let's hope because that's not fatal.
😢 it sucks cause I think Gregory and Alexis would make a great couple.
Gh really does well with education on illnesses for real and the actors always deliver they do too much with the dead and sick babies though
😭😭😭😭😭

why does michael easton whisper
I hate this story, not every character has to have a life threatening disease! I FF this story..I watch the show to be entertained.
