Yo Daniel, your POV series is amazing, but I have a suggestion: the 4:3 aspect ratio with sidebars makes the video feel a bit less immersive. Maybe you could slightly distort it (without cropping it) to fit UA-cam's full screen format. Also the videos are so good, and I think using a frame from the video as the thumbnail instead of a cover might help them perform even better and get more views. Keep it up, man!
Hey Dave! Thanks for the feedback! At first I'm stoked you like it. These videos I'm uploading now are actually older. I'm just testing whats up. Also with the cover photos and stuff. I took these vids basically just for myself, or more for Instagram. Also the quality isn't the greatest. That's why I didnt use the cover photos screenshots from the videos. But I can switch it and try what works better for sure. But this season I'll actually concentrate on making the POV videos. I already got better setup, so I can film 16:9 straight away with everything visible and hopefully way less wind - as that is completely terrible... So now I'm basically trying to start the algorithm and get people to come back to my channel. Once I'm back on the skis after Christmas - fresh vids are coming in hot! :)
Now this is nice. It looks so fun to ski in snowed in trees. I wonder if that's possible in the alps
