I remember this fight when I didn’t know much about boxing (still don’t). Wasn’t sure if it was my own bias that I wanted conlan to win but seeing it back can see that it must have been fixed!

Finally the investigation has found that his fight was fixed and hopefully he will receive at least the Bronze, although should have been Olympic Champion
Nah I thought Conlan won and deserved at least the bronze but he was no where near the gold medal. He would have faced Shakur Stevenson in the semis and he was not on Shakur's level. I am not a fan of any of these guys but I watched a lot of their amateur bouts and Conlan may not have even been able to touch Shakur. And then there was also Robeisy Ramirez on the other end who outclassed Conlan in Olympic London and was even more brilliant in Rio. It would have been so hard for Michael to win gold but he did deserve the chance to try instead of getting his bronze taken away from him.

I’ve never been a fan of the scoring in the Olympics feel like they focus more on the boxer profiles then the fight for example Anthony Joshua massive fan but he didn’t deserve a lot of those victories

Judges are the #1 problem in all fighting honestly if announcers voted in boxing and ufc it’d be better or maybe do like a call in number for ten minutes or so like contest shows do and let fans decide
The commentators are more biased than anyone they usually only have talking points for the champion or higher profile fighter

It's horrible how many times boxing gets fixed. I've had it myself.
Hopefully he gets his revenge soon. Roy Jones Jr was robbed unbelievably in Korea and used it as motivation to become more of a beast, in my opinion the GOAT in his prime.
Boxing is often a pointless sport. Judges have decided who has won often before the first bell rings. It is often not corruption. It is more favourtism and incompetence. Who knows who.
