Great comment! (See below.) But I think the archaeologists should dig under the dolmens to see if, indeed there were burials. I don't think so. Just like the pyramids, we're told that the pyramids were tombs but no ancient body was ever found in one. I think the dolmens were megalith things to store and/or send natural energy of the earth - like Feng shui. The reason the giant stones are placed on top of smaller rocks is the same reason that guitar strings are lifted off of the guitar body with a small strip of wood. That way the strings can freely vibrate. I think it's the same principal with giant dolmens lifted off of the body of the earth so that they can freely vibrate.

They won't do it most likely. Disrespect to ancestors and stuff will most likely to factor in since it is still a strong influence in eastern cultures/countries. Unlike western archeologists who will happily dig everything up. An example is a huge earthen mound in Japan suspected to be a tomb of someone very impt from pre history but they did not dig it for the same reasons. Pretty sure western archeologists are dying to dig up that one but Japan only allows non invasive investigation i think.

dolmems are originated from Korean word (dolmemgyi, meaning stone). they are graves of high position people in GoJoSeon (the first ancient Korean nation). also possible dolmens were used for sacrifice to Heavenly God.

How could a log hold the weight of a 290 ton stone? It would either be crushed to splinters or mashed flush into the ground surface, wouldn't it?

@@jomakwee difference is with "big stone" and "290 ton stone" and they used plastic ropes in that attempt.
My best guess is that they rolled the stones on place since they are some what round. Also, maybe the ruler had this burial construction going during the entirely of his rain, so maybe they had something like 20 years time to get the stone there.

Korea is only country with Dolmens with celestial map carved on them. They are worlds first celestial map in the world. Tracing the alignments of start positioned on these dolmens all in all around 200 of them!!!, they are 3000 years old. They are 1800 years older than the Sumerians map of stars. Total worlds 70% of dolmens can be found in Korea. Korea is called Dolmen capital of the world. I'm sure many of them are much older more close to 10,000 years old. After all, they spent Ice Age in Tibet and then moved here when Ice age stated to retreat around 11000 years ago I woulden't doubt some of them are that old. Korean peninsula was their ancestor's burial land for all Korean races from the past. So all ages of their culture can be found here.

    • @emt56399

Im wondering the same thing. How many logs are required to support the weight, will that number of logs fit within the space of the stone, how do they place the cut stone into the logs in the first place, then after all of that, let's get it moving down hill..... once in place how do you stop 290 tons, it sure doesn't stop on a dime. Seems to me it'd take some precision to stop your cover stone on top of the burial pit. Then you gotta get the stone off the log.
Seems like a real feat of engineeringid this is how it was done.

0:40 actually shows a tribe in modern day that pulls huge stones for burial ritual. Logs make moving the stones easier but therr is still a lot of manpower involved. And since the "tombs" are at the foot of the mountain gravity helps in bringing down the stones.

Good video but right off the back let me just tell yal. No they didn't cut those huge rocks by inserting wood followed by water and no thats not how they moved the rocks. Do yal know that everything is made of atoms, including me and you be are not a solid object as a matter of fact nothing is solid in this universe everything is made of hundreds of thousands of atoms that physically don't touch so if we knew how to match the frequencies and vibrations of a brick wall we could literally walk through it same goes for a wood wall or big bolder rocks. U see there is lots to learn and lots to teach ourselves in order to evolve. I honestly feel like these rocks were moved by using a matching frequency of the stones and vibrations. And I honestly feel that religion is slowing our growth as humanity for the simple fact that religion doesn't belive in the science of life and chose to believe that so called "God" created all of this which has no evidence at all. In the other hand we have science doing the math and showing us truth. Who here seriously believes that some dude split the ocean in half so that him and his people could walk to the other side? Who seriously believes that a man with a beard with a fabricated made up name can heal you with the touch of his hand or that some lady got pregnant for no reason. First of all that virgin lady is simply planet earth because earth gave life to everything as a virgin it didn't fuck mars or venues to get pregnant. "Jesus " literally the sun thats why we call it the sun because its the "sun of god" the devil is simply the night time, enemies lurk at night, predators hunt their pray when its dark and we are sleeping or can't see what's in front of us,what I'm trying to say is that the night could be evil and the devils horns is simply the moon shaped like a banana and gives the night sky horns. And god is simply yourself, we live in the same planet but we live in our own worlds we decide what we want to do with it and no one els. No one can help you but yourself. When you wake up in the morning and go outside look up and thats your sun=Son when i look up its my sun. Im god of my own world and your all gods and goddesses of our own worlds. Don't believe the hype, don't give your money to church dont waste your time praying to something that isn't there. People go to church to change their lives all the time but church didn't change their lives, they did. Dont believe in another man... believe in yourselves...
