You should know the full context. As I mentioned on my blog post... she was to dive 8 stories deep. That is less than 30 meters.. I guess. She talked with the guy about the possibilty of getting the bends before the dive and she was down there just a couple of minutes. In the next episode (which aired this week) she actually suffers from the bends after that dive and dives down again a couple of meters and stays there some time... some sort of late decompression stop. I will add that new info to the blog post.
