Honestly, i want this to be premium cause its getting tiring keeping up with news about upcoming openworld games that are gacha and id have to decide which to commit long term.

There are two blondys so far, one with the spear and the other one with the sword. I think the one we see losing an arm in the cutscene is the spear welder. So it will be gacha most likely.
Been following UD sice it was first announced, and happy to see this new trailer! Really hoping its a premium game. That way they can focus on the World and combat rather than just a specific gameplay loop.

They don't switch weapons, they switch 2 characters, so gacha potential is present.
She switched weapons during the boss fight part of the video.
@@IAMCha0tik 4:23 look at the spear character when she stands up - her hair is one braid and she has almost no HP
4:25 when she switches to the sword her hair is 2 tails, her HP sudenly becomes full (untill she switches back at 5:02)
Spear girl is the one we see in the cinematic in the beginning whose hand and leg were torn, while the sword girl is the one we see in the end trying to fix her hair.

I would like it to be a premium game, but we'll just have to see if it'll cost any money or depends how much it'll be
I've been looking forward to this game for awhile now and with this its broken my expectations.
I sure hope it's gacha, yea the concept of a soulsborne gacha intrigues me a lot but what concerns me is longevity. Whether or not the devs can forecast the lifespan of the game and adjust the length of the story for it.
Edit: I think this is Sekiro ish one before but different, also another problem would be the difficulty of daily and weekly grinds. That would make it more intimidating for newbies thus lower player base count.
REgarding the question of it being difficult or not, I find it hard to evaluate from a trailer where we don't really know the damage numbers.
Sure, the boss attacks seem well telegrafed, but this could still be a pretty hard game if mistakes are punishing enough or it's hard to cancel out of atatcks once you've commited to them.
On the other hand, even if the bosses were super agressive, this wouldn't mean much had they made it viable to just facetank everything.
As for prefering it to be a premium game or a gacha... Well, given this is available Android, iOS and the PS5 I would say there is a 99% chanceof it being a gacha. ^^; If it's a f2p game, I'll definitly try it. If not, depends on it's pricing and how well it's received, I suppose. I rarely buy full priced games at launch,but maybe I'd pick it up once it's 70% off or something.

I really like the look of this game and the game play. And I bet that story is dark af and I'm here for it... I kinda hope it's a gacha game actually cause that could be kinda unique and interesting.

This is Real dark soul anime game, the vibes, atmosphere, bgm, nice,, love it,, not like Wuwa,The dark soul vibe in that game is lacking.
They originally had that potential. Then they listened to the feedback from people that would not play the game more than a week. 😅

This game looks like it have Weapon switching Instead of character switching so far, either way I love it already 😂 I don't.
Mind gotcha, but I do like premium games as well. So it really doesn't matter as. As long as the game is enjoyable.

not easy, that sucks >.< I dont know if i would play because im more of a tactical SRPG guy, only rarely do i play games like Aether Gazer. Id LOVE if they did more tactical SRPG's due too not having really any but Reverse Collapse Codename Bakery is the best by far since its already really hard and its on normal. Girl's Frontline 2: Exilum is another one i hope lives upto its name but from what ive played its not as difficult but it still provides minor challenge. Everything is new just released on bilibili, the music is fantastic but the gameplay is pretty easy thus far but im not far into the game so i cant give a good answer for that. I do hold some preference to these types of games but not a lot as I said before but if its good and not a cake walk im all for it.
If it is going to be gacha then being as hard as souls like games is the worse thing ever, nobody has enough time or patience to kill the same boss 24 times just to level up a character, but if it is premium game then being hard because of different boss movements rather than just HP sponges will be amazing. In my opinion WuWa is doing the best thing in this regard, put the hard bosses with different movements in a different game mode and keep the normal farmable bosses just hard enough to have fun using all 3 characters. Anyway this game looks amazing and has a lot of potential.
