      But brother God has a name...he is the living God...so we gotta worship him with his name .He is JESUS CHRIST, the God Yaweh sent his son ( his own human form) to earth to die for our sins . Through his blood we are washed clean from sins.anyone who accepts Jesus accepts Yaweh. By the way he has no form . So we must not worship images.he is the Alpha and the omega.

      @Dane dine Please don't kid yourself. You believe that all your sins have been "forgiven" because you believe that Jesus Christ "the savior" died for, and instead of you!
      You are in real trouble! Not only are you still sin-laden, you have added a new, terrible sin to the old batch! You are guilty of idolatry for worshiping a false "savior" and god. The word of YHWH plainly states that He (YHWH) alone is Savior; (Isaiah 43:11). He alone can forgive sin (Isaiah 43:25). He alone is the True Deity (Isaiah 43:10)!!
      Moreover, you cannot "believe away" sin! Magic plays absolutely no role in the system of sin and atonement established by YHWH, the sole Creator of this universe and pure God of Israel. Atonement by "faith" is not part of YHWH's setup. The only way a sinner can get his sins forgiven is by repenting and; by doing and fulfilling what YHWH wants him to do!! YHWH says: "Again, when I say to the wicked, you shall surely die; if he turn from his sin (repents) and do that which lawful and right ("good works")... he shall surely live, he shall NOT die!! NONE of his sins which he had committed shall be remembered against him! He has done that which is lawful and right! He shall surely LIVE!" (Ezekiel 33:14-16). Ezekiel was a prophet of YHWH. He wasn't a Christian preacher!
      In Moses' day, the repentant sinner usually (NOT ALWAYS) offered an animal sacrifice to symbolize his "giving" and YHWH's "accepting".
      Later prophets elaborated on how animal sacrifices are worthless without obedience:
      "Behold, to OBEY is BETTER than sacrifice!" (1 Samuel 15:22). "Do I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?" (Psalms 50:13).
      "By practicing mercy and truth is sin atoned for!" (Proverbs 16:6).
      HOW can you come to YHWH? YHWH provides the answer: "Return, O Israel, to YHWH your almighty, for you have stumbled in your iniquity! Take with you WORDS and return to YHWH! (WHAT words?) Say to Him: forgive all iniquity and accept GOODNESS (good works). Thus, will we offer, INSTEAD of bullocks (blood) the offerings of our LIPS!" (Hosea 14:2-3).
      According to the word of YHWH, NO ONE can die for you! If you don't believe me, read Exodus 33:31-33; Deuteronomy 24:16; Ezekiel 18:3-4. But YHWH's demands can be met by you, if only you will know the truth. You can come to YHWH on your own! Read YHWH's word! "With what offering can I come before YHWH, and bow myself before the Mighty One on high? Should I come to him with burnt offerings, with year-old calves? Will YHWH be pleased by thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Should I give my first-born for my transgression (human sacrifice, like the crucifixion!), the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? It has been told you, O man, what is good, and what YHWH (not religious doctrine but YHWH!) requires of you: ONLY to DO what is just (YHWH's COMMANDMENTS) and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your Almighty!" (Micah 6:6-8).
      Hallelu-Yahh, praise YHWH! His Salvation is open to all! No believing in fairy-stories, no bloody crucifixions! No "divine suicide" on a Roman Cross! Plain and simple is the Way of YHWH! Will you take Him at His Word today?

    They are authentic Jews, and arguing that they also have extra-Biblical laws misses the point. Karaites are not opposed to extra-Biblical halachah as such, only those laws which seem to them to contravene the simple laws of Torah, and they are opposed to putting Oral Law on an equal footing with Written law (as we have done)...they are not opposed to all oral laws as such.

    • @ZviJ1

      If you mean they all trace back to the ancient Israelites without any foreign blood mixed in, this is surely false. There is ample documentary evidence on top of evidence in their prayer books referring to gentiles having joined the Jewish people through the Qaraite movement to refute the claim of absolute Israelite purity in their ranks.

    • @ZviJ1
      @ZviJ1 10 років тому +5

      While their Jewish practice is the closest to authenticity of all organized branches of Judaism, there is, unfortunately, no shortage of aspects in it that require improvement. I know whereof I speak since I have seen and experienced it with them; the problems and deficiencies in their Torah observance can leave one shaking their head after they have become aware of the entire extent of them.
      And I am not merely a complainer, but am working to eliminate some of these problem areas.

    • @ZviJ1

      Having some acquaintance with Jason Bright from his online activity, I can testify he has always struck me as reliable in his claims related to Judaism, which is why I am all the more shocked that he has issued that insane hooey that Shabbat in Judaism (it's the same day of the week for Qaraites and Rabbanites) is out of sync with the original Israelite calendar.
      With this being said, the notion that Ya`aqov Avinu and Yosef circumcised all the Egyptians is a Rabbinic fairy tale and it obviously has no historical proof.
      Mr. Bright's claim that the Hebrews learned to circumcise from the Egyptians is much less wacky, but lacks merit. There is no solid evidence whatsoever that Avraham Avinu learned from the Egyptians how to do it. For all we know, the practice may have been invented simultaneously in different human cultures in antiquity.

    • @CKDz
      @CKDz 6 років тому +3

      What's more, Ya'akov's grandfather circumcised his whole house to cut a covenant with the Creator Of The Universe. So, despite the lack of written attestation, it is very likely that this practice was carried through the family on down to Yosef and throughout the majority of Yisraelites in Egypt during bondage. Thus, they wouldn't have needed to learn this from the Egyptians. In fact, I would love to see the evidence for the earliest instances of this practice in Egypt.

    Genuine question: Why do they recite the blessing for putting on tsitsit when that blessing is derived from rabbinic Judaism? It sounds like it's a modified blessing here, but it's almost the same. What are they saying exactly?

    • @ZviJ1
      @ZviJ1 7 років тому +6

      Yes, it is a "modified" blessing, since the blessing for donning Ṣiṣit ends with the words "Lilbosh Arba` Kenafot b'Ṣiṣit" (ללבוש ארבע כנפות בציצת), whereas the Rabbinic equivalent ends with the words "l'Hit`aṭef b'Ṣiṣit" (להתעטף בציצת).
      But why should this be a problem to anybody, as long as nobody argues that reciting this blessing is commanded by YHWH and an absolute requirement?

    • @ZviJ1
      @ZviJ1 7 років тому +5

      The truth about the Khazar conversion is hardly acknowledged -- only the Khazar aristocracy became Jewish, but subsequently they were probably killed in battle, since not even a single genetic study has reveled traces from the Khazars among Ashkenazic Jews.
      The Rabbinic establishment certainly triumphed over Ethiopian Jewry by twisting its arm into abandoning their form of Judaism for Orthodoxy. The failure of the Rabbinic attempts in Israel to make the Qaraite Jews knuckle under is a continuing source of shame for many Orthodox Jews (judging by comments they issue in social media sites and elsewhere).

    Headcovering is expected because the early Qaraite Sages made an equivalence between the worshipers and the Temple's priests. Officially it is a custom which effectively is an extraneous commandment and as such it adds to the Torah.

      @@kavasrinu2372 Please don't kid yourself. You believe that all your sins have been "forgiven" because you believe that Jesus Christ "the savior" died for, and instead of you!
      You are in real trouble! Not only are you still sin-laden, you have added a new, terrible sin to the old batch! You are guilty of idolatry for worshiping a false messiah, god and "savior".
      In Moses's day, the repentant sinner usually (NOT ALWAYS) offered an animal sacrifice to symbolize his "giving" and YHWH's "accepting".
If you don't believe me, read Deuteronomy 24:16; Ezekiel 18:3-4.

      Communal prayer and public prayer occasions are mentioned already in the Miqra (Jewish Bible. I suppose you know there are 2 sections in it apart from the Torah) and other pre-Rabbinic Israelite sources. The resort to Tehillim psalms in prayer and Temple rituals predates Rabbinic Judaism and its Pharisaic parent by several centuries at least. Many of these psalms were authored as prayers. Any four-cornered garment apart from the Ṭallit may be used, or none at all if one desires (as the Torah does not command one to wear a four-cornered garment) (I have personally attended many Qaraite prayer services so know whereof I speak).

      A comprehensive study of the word "Ṣiṣit" and related words in the Miqra (not just the Torah) reveals that they ought to be *braided* rather than tied, and the blue-violet dye for the Tekhelet should be extracted from a pure source rather than impure ones such as marine species.

For example they can choose whether to celebrate Hanukkah or not, but they still have to follow Torah commandments.

    • @ZviJ1
      @ZviJ1 2 роки тому

      The question is legitimate with regards to the Kippah and Ṭallit.
      They believe any four cornered garment with "flappy" corners can be used for the Ṣiṣit commandment, but for convenience sake they prefer a garment that is already in the synagogue and had a set of traditional Qaraite Ṣiṣit attached to its corners in advance -- and this happens to be a Ṭallit.
      When the Qaraite movement began they decided that the worshipers are equivalent to the priests ministering in YHWH's House, who had to wear a kind of high hat by a Torah commandment. The Kippah is the most convenient headcovering for males and this is why they prefer it over other headcoverings.

As another example, kissing the Ṣiṣiyot as done by the Orthodox and others at some phase was borrowed from the Qaraites.
      There's nothing heretical in my logic since the rabbis had no authority over anyone who did not choose to obey them, and your attribution of "following only the written word" to me is a lie. But this is to be expected, because a Rabbanite cannot deal honestly with the reality that their form of Judaism is very wrong.
      In your arch-heretical logic you do not realize, or pretend not to understand, that Devarim 4:2 is a prohibition on adding mandatory things to the Torah's commandments. Had you understood this, you'd know that the Rabbanites breach this commandment in spades while the Qaraites breach it on a really small scale i.e. coercing everyone into wearing headcovering in their synagogues and not allowing Jews access to Gid HaNashe even if they want to eat it.

      There is a reason why "rabbinic" Judaism has always been the dominant stream and has survived every failed attempt to throw out the oral law.

Neriyah (Yirmeyahu's aide and scribe) being dead in Egypt before `Ezrah the Scribe was born in Babylon. Yet, the Rabbinical sheeple do not notice this and the fools prefer to pretend the chain is not fictitious when the gaps are brought to their attention.
      The main reason the heretical Rabbinic Judaism managed to become dominant in Jewry is that it is more atuned to human nature on multiple levels. When it comes to religion most people prefer to shift the responsibility to others, have others do the thinking for them and be instructed, even as grownups, by others on what to do, and have it easier (overall Rabbinism is easier, because the lives of its adherents are much more micromanaged). Rabbinic Judaism provides all of these.
      If you and the Qaraites could overcome the brainwashing each of you underwent, you'd manage to see that the straightforward meaning of the pasuq alluding to the abstention from consuming Gid HaNashe is a laudable custom, but not a Miṣwah.

      While Islam recognizes the truth of the Miqra (Jewish Scriptures), it compromises the purity of the divine message by adding to YHWH's complete and perfect Word. Starting from the Qur'an, Islam adds to and detracts from His commandments. Islam's creators plagiarized Judaism, added a dash of Christinsanity and then added a unique twist to the mix, to match the taste of Arabs.
      In Moses's day, the repentant sinner usually (NOT ALWAYS) offered an animal sacrifice to symbolize his "giving" and YHWH's "accepting".

Should I come to him with burnt offerings, with year-old calves? Will YHWH be pleased by thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Should I give my first-born for my transgression (human sacrifice, like the crucifixion!), the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? It has been told you, O man, what is good, and what YHWH (not religious doctrine but YHWH!) requires of you: ONLY to DO what is just (YHWH's COMMANDMENTS) and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your Almighty!" Notwithstanding the erroneous assertions of the KK website, there is no self-conversion in Judaism; becoming a Jew requires adoption by a Jewish community affiliating with one of those movements.
      Moreover, Mr. Gutierrez has been to that synagogue only once (if at all) and has not returned to it, despite occasional lies that he repeats.
      I have seen how Mr. Gutierrez talks disrespectfully and arrogantly to Jews when he believes they are excluding gentiles more than his own taste can stand.
      From my recent personal experience, Mr. Gutierrez evidently resorts to threatening tones that escalate to bullying that borders on profanity if somebody dares remind him that he is still a gentile.
      Mr. Gutierrez may be Torah observant, but he has a very long way to go in terms of relating to his fellow man until he is allowed to join the Qaraite community as a Jew. Meanwhile, it seems like he is doing his utmost to ensure he will be kept at a safe distance from this community.

      @@syed2194 The notion that `Anan (OBM) founded the Qaraite movement is obsolete and has been disproved quite a while ago.
      His exegetical methods are Rabbinic and he made up bizarre observances that have no foundation in the Miqra.
      It is acceptable among almost all credible scholars to date the Qaraite movement's founding to 800 AD.
      Aditionally, reputable scholars found that the Ananite and Qaraite movements coexisted in parallel through the 10th century.
      Moreover, there is no Abbasid record of `Anan ben Dawid having been imprisoned, even though the Abbasids were meticulous in recording all matters brought before the Calif and who was imprisoned. The myth not only does not show up until the 10th (possibly the 12th according to Nemoy) century, it also has two different versions: one which said that ‘Anan had a brother name Ḥananyah who succeeded the Exilarch Shelomo ben-Ḥisdai, while in the other it says the brother’s name was Yoshiyah. However, both are fiction and bear no relationship with historical fact, since Shelomo ben-Ḥisdai was succeeded by Yiṣḥaq Iskawi I, who was succeeded by Yehudah Zakkai. There never was an Exilarch named Ḥananyah or Yoshiyah.
      The myth also claims that ‘Anan’s father was Shafaṭ and that he was only called ben-Dawid as a allusion to his Davidic descent. However, ‘Anan’s father was Dawid ben-Yehudah ben-Ḥisdai ben-Bustenai.
      ‘Anan ben-Shafaṭ disputed with the Exilarch Rav Huna II in the third century (Rav Huna II was Exilarch from 240 to 260), while the alleged imprisonment was supposed to have occurred in 769.
      The 10th/12th century myth records what it claims was a secret conversation between ‘Anan and the Muslim scholar Abu Ḥanifa an-Nu‘man ibn Tabit (ignoring the fact that Abu Ḥanifa died in 767, two years before ‘Anan’s alleged imprisonment) in which the Muslim convinces ‘Anan to say that he was not the head of the Jews but of a different religion. If there was such a secret conversation, how could the author of the myth be privy to what was said?
      None of the Rabbanite opponents of ‘Anan during his lifetime or that of his son or his grandson or great-grandson mention a dispute of the Exilarchate with a brother or him being imprisoned. If the things in the 10th/12th century myth were true, why is it that none of the opponents of ‘Anan or the Karaites mention it until the 10th/12th century?
      The Rabbanite Ga’on Naṭronai lived less than 90 years after ‘Anan, yet makes no mention of the alleged dispute over the office or imprisonment.
      Leon Nemoy in his “Karaite Anthology”, p. 6-7 says that Naṭronai tells us nothing “about the contest for the office of the exilarch which allegedly served as the immediate cause of his apostasy. It seems reasonable to assume that Naṭronai’s silence signifies that he knew nothing about it, for it would have been to his advantage, had he knowledge of `Anan’s disqualification for the high office, to set it forth in detail in order to demonstrate the more convincingly, from his own point of view, `Anan’s unworthy and ungodly motives. Moreover, Naṭronai lived in the very center of the scene of `Anan’s activity and belonged to the higher strata of Rabbanite society, where the alleged particulars of `Anan’s secession should have been known best, had they been true.”
      Someone who lived less than 90 years after ‘Anan would also know that the Exilarch Shelomo ben-Ḥisadai was succeeded by Yiṣḥaq Iskawi and he by Yehudah ben-Zakkai and that there was no Exilarch named Ḥananyah or Yoshiyah. Only someone from a much later time period could confuse the 3rd century ‘Anan ben-Shafaṭ and Rava Huna I with the 8th century ‘Anan ben-Dawid and a fictitious brother named Ḥananyah.

      WHEN WAS THE MESSIAH TO COME?
      According to the Prophet Daniel, the Messiah was to come before the Destruction of the Second Temple at Jerusalem. Here is the Prediction:
      PROPHET DANIELS PROPHECY:
      Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself...and the people of the prince that shall come shall Destroy the City and the Sanctuary ( Daniel 9:26) & (Isaiah 53:8).
      FULFILLED: Messiah came, and was "cut off" as Foretold. Soon afterward "the city" of Jerusalem, and "the sanctuary" of the Temple, were Destroyed by the people of the prince," Titus and his Roman Legions, in A.D. 70, precisely as Predicted long Centuries before by Daniel the Prophet.
      THE WITNESS OF THE PROPHETS
      "To him (the Messiah) give all the Prophets Witness, that through His name Whosoever believeth in Him(Jesus Christ) shall receive Remission of Sins."(No Heaven without Messiah)
      🪶OLD COVENANT TIME IS OVER & NEW COVENANT IS STARTED(Jeremiah 31:31-34).

      @@kavasrinu2372 Please don't kid yourself. You believe that all your sins have been "forgiven" because you believe that Jesus Christ "the savior" died for, and instead of you!
      But you are in real trouble! Not only are you still sin-laden, you have added a new, terrible sin to the old batch! You are guilty of idolatry for worshiping a false messiah, god and "savior".
      In Moses's day, the repentant sinner usually (NOT ALWAYS) offered an animal sacrifice to symbolize his "giving" and YHWH's "accepting".
If you don't believe me, read Deuteronomy 24:16; Ezekiel 18:3-4. It has been told you, O man, what is good, and what YHWH (not religious doctrine but YHWH!) requires of you: ONLY to DO what is just (YHWH's COMMANDMENTS) and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your Almighty!" (Micha 6:6-8).
      Hallelu-Yahh, praise YHWH! His Salvation is open to all! No believing in fairy-stories, no bloody crucifixions! No "divine suicide" on a Roman Cross! Plain and simple is the Way of YHWH! Will you take Him at His Word today?

      1) While I myself oppose the emulation of certain things like Kippot in Qaraite Judaism, the Qaraite Jews are much closer to YHWH's demands and the actual Torah in particular. It is the Rabbinic Jews who are the "Korachites" ; their forms of Judaism are one huge rebellion against the true Torah.
      2.1) No matter how much those like you wish to deny the fact, Rabbinism has NEVER been the ONLY form of Judaism in existence. Its prototype, Pharisaism, only came into existence in the early 2nd century BCE.
      2.2) Not only Ethiopian Jewry prior to their mass immigration to Israel and the Qaraite Jews, but the Torah-true Israelitism and early Judaism that preceded the appearance of the Pharisees and the earliest stratum of the "oral" torah have all proved that observance of the "written" Torah is possible, no matter how much the Rabbanites attempt to deny these facts. Thus for example, if the Rabbinic "oral" torah had existed in any form prior to the 2nd century BCE, the Miqra would have reported that our ancestors at the time of `Ezrah & Neḥemyah observed the Four Species commandment as per the Rabbinic interpretation; yet something very different is revealed -- our antecedents used these Species to construct their sukkot and nothing remotely like an Etrog is mentioned there as a fruit of splendorous trees, no matter how Rabbinic exegetes attempted to spin this invaluable information about the observance of that holiday in favor of the Rabbinic "oral" torah.
      3) Hoping for "reconciliation" with the non-Jewish Samaritans while slandering or generally expressing disdain toward non-Rabbinic Jews is utterly foolish and pathetic to boot. It is sick and teaches a lot about the warped priorities of the individual expressing that.
      4) While the Judah tribe contributed the most members to what would ultimately be known as the Jewish people, Jews come from virtually all tribes of Israel. This can be concluded already from the Miqra itself.
      In this day and age, unlike the pre-internet epoch, poor knowledge on top of hatred toward brethren does not get you very far even among Jews.

Although I would initially agree with you when I first found Qaraite Judaism last decade that they created their own oral Torah, I've since become more knowledgeable by learning that there's a substantial difference -- the Qaraites do not claim their interpretations and traditions come from a Divine source, and are known to have deviated from some of them when they were proved to contradict the actual Torah.

      My brother, be sure of what you say. We Muslims do not say that our Prophet Moses is a Muslim because Muslims believe that the Torah was revealed to him from God for his people. Rather, we say that he is from the same source of the religion that our Prophet Abraham brought, and whose religion was Hanafi Islam They are two manifestations of incarnate monotheism that was completed His message from the Prophet Moses to his people, the Children of Israel, and after him the Prophet Muhammad, the seal of the prophets of God, who came to the whole world, completing all the previous heavenly religions that were affected by distortion, and according to my personal opinion, the most Jewish group that was not affected by the distortion of the Torah are these group of Jews on this vidéo "Karaite Judaism"...so This is a logical reason why you find that we are very similar to each other

    • @adel57100
      @adel57100 2 місяці тому

      @@oussamasaaidia114 Why do you need to lie about religion? Of course in Islam Moses is considered Muslim, the same than Adam, Noah or Abraham. Sure, this is only a creed in Islam as historically speaking it makes no sense, but still, that's what the muslim faith teaches. Regarding the similarities between Karaite Judaism and Islam practices, this should not come as a surprise when considering the cultural environment Islam was born in : 7th century Hijaz. There were already lots of Jewish communities in the Arabian Peninsula (Yathrib, Yemen, as well as several Arab speaking jewish tribes), and at that time Karaite Judaism was representing about 40% of the Jews worldwide, and especially in the Levant. If I'm not mistaken, by that time even Rabbinical judaism was still practicing prosternation. Thus in this context it is not surprising that Islam borrowed from other local Abrahamic practices, that we still can find elements from as of today. It's important to understand that at its very beginning Islam was not a religion per-se, but rather an oeucumenical movement (hence the use of typically Jewish symbolism by the first caliphates, as can be seen from the "Muslim Menorah Coins").
      So to sum it up, your answer was wrong both from a theological and a historical perspective. If you take your religion seriously, please refrain from twisting it, after all Allah promised the fire for those who would distort his message. I don't believe in it, but if I were I would certainly avoid risking hell if I were honestly convinced.

      While Islam recognizes the truth of the Miqra (Jewish Scriptures), it compromises the purity of the divine message by adding to YHWH's complete and perfect Word. Starting from the Qur'an, Islam adds to and detracts from His commandments. Islam's creators plagiarized Judaism, added a dash of Christinsanity and then added a unique twist to match the taste of Arabs. @Nash Ashbel This is the *closest* form of Judaism to authentic Judaism among organized Jewish denominations.
      Authentic Judaism is characterized by two things lacking in Qaraism: being led by the Levy tribe and true prophets (when the latter exist) and a practical affinity to the Temple Mount.
      Conversely. Qaraite Judaism is led by sages without preference for the Levites, who have some of the vestigial roles familiar from Orthodox Judaism; and it does not depend on the Temple Mt. for any of its practices.
