- Out of my comfort zone a little today! The Rise & Shine sleeveless top from Pattern Emporium is super cute for hot weather and has multiple length and hem options. I went a little rouge and chose the shorter versions! I wanted to try this look on myself with a hem facing and a hem casing. I'm so glad I took the chance! I have 2 versions to share.

I was so excited, it’s an ‘about a metre’ top. Like everyone else, i have so many bits of ‘about a metre’ of fabric kicking around. Too much to chuck out but not enough to do anything with! Get in my cart pattern! 🛒

Another great video! All of the outfits look wonderful on you! The matching black set really caught my eye. I have seen several ads for "travel jumpsuits" that I think look cute but don't seem very practical to me. I don't want to have to take a jumpsuit down when I am using a public restroom while traveling. I have been thinking I need to make a faux jumpsuit with a matched set and your black set has a jumpsuit vibe. I'd love to see a video about other pattern combinations that would make a nice faux jumpsuit.

I always enjoy your video's and watching you sew. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan at all of the look of this pattern. I think it would be more suited for someone thin as it adds inches to the middle section.
That’s perfectly fine. We all have our preferences and I’m favouring comfort at this time of my life. Theres always sewing tips to see here no matter what the style is :)
I have never done the Pattern Emporium patterns, but I love how they have three bust options built in.

Creative combinations! I like that most of the tops (maybe all) have shoulder straps wide enough to cover bra straps. My favorite was the first red/burgundy skirt & top, but the black palazzo pants look very comfortable.
I don't know why, but an image of you in the black top and your red, black and white striped shirt and shorts outfit with sequined Minnie Mouse ears at Disneyworld popped into my head. LOL
Very nice pattern and great options. I like the centre seam for linen as you say and I would try a bias cut. That would fall very nicely. Thank you for inspiring ideas.

The tops are lovely and look great on you. You sew darts the exact way I do. I just got myself a stitch in the ditch presser foot it really simplifies the process. I also bought myself a hem guide for hems. No more stay stitching and holds fabric in place so fewer pins.

Yes it covers the bra straps in the front and the back. I don’t know what you mean about me not liking the top. I clearly stated that I love it 🤷🏻♀️
