Luka’s 3pt shot selection can be frustrating at times since he almost exclusively shoots the hardest possible threes, off-the-dribble contested stepbacks. But he does seem to consistently hit the most important clutch ones. Like 3:42 when he was 2-9 on threes before making this one.
It’s hard to compare American players to this kinda European geniuses like doncic, Jokic. They can pretty much do everything. American stars like AE, Tatum, they r more like a finisher, scorer, elite defender( two way player)
Minnesota prepared for two years to beat Denver and Jokic, and they forgot that there is another Serbian-Slovenian Luka Doncic, they are not ready for him

@@James.rivers yes you still pump the brakes bc some of those guys made 7-8 All defensive teams to go along with their elite offensive talent and I obviously know that Luka’s defense has improved drastically this season and I give him a lot of credit for that but we both know his defense doesn’t compare to some of those guys in that top tier of players so when you talk about being the greatest over guys like MJ, Lebron, Kobe, Duncan you have to include what those guys brought on both sides of the ball at an elite level historically, and let him win at least one championship first before we start saying he’ll be the greatest ever and let’s see if he could win 4-5 championships bc that’s what it take for him to enter that GOAT conversation along other accolades like MVP, FMVP, and more all NBA teams as well so he’s got a lot of people he still has to pass up first before he even gets to that top 5-10 discussion and it’s not a guarantee that he’ll ever get to that point but we’ll see.
@@James.rivers I did see the game winner bc I watched the entire game but I know Luka is capable of shots like that but that doesn’t make anything I said earlier inaccurate about him he’s great and will go down as an All Time Great but he’s got a lot to do to be even considered the greatest of all time and there’s 2 sides of the ball and in would be hard for Luka to surpass some of the guys I mentioned earlier bc his defense doesn’t compare to some of those players in that 5-10 range although his defense is much improved but in order to surpass some of these Greats to become the GOAT he’ll have to win more championships than some of the guys in that top 5-10 bc his defense isn’t comparable to guys like a MJ , Kobe, Duncan, Lebron and a few others who are considered elite both offensively and defensively while Luka is only elite offensively and average- above average defensively at best.
He and Kyrie are extraordinary shot creator and shot maker beside the fact that they're both incredible playmaker as well that's why even if they have great defensive coverages they're still producing high numbers
Hostage Overtake...collected hostages in so many ways: starting with getting himself to nice one handed mid-range floaters, then generates an open lane for a cutter, then even holds a hostage at the 3point line to generate a give and go. 1:06 : what are you doing Goober...lol. 1:25: Naz, you trying to help Luka make Dudley the next Deandre Jordan? What are you doing...lol 1:15, 1:34 : constantly baits Edwards to try and poke the ball and uses that to blow by or bait a foul. 1:46 : wow, Luka just forcing his strength, then baiting mcdaniels, then baiting naz, then gets his easy assist. 2:10 : Luka just constantly baiting Gobert to chase the highlight turnover, what a nice crisscross hostage dribble to get it done, wow. 2:35 : Andy is a goof, Luka just fakes a three to make sure ANT starts boxing his guy out and keeps leaving the lane wide open, then rushes in and baits Gobert to stop the layup and also Naz to stop the kickout three, but obviously Luka is taking the easy assist to Gafford.
