PLEASE NOTE: This is not a tech channel, but simply a show-and-tell. It is not designed to give advice and support on vacuum tube amplifiers but to show what I get up to each week in the workshop.
I deliberately keep tech talk to a minimum, or at least to a point where it’s understandable to the casual viewer. There are other channels more suited to that level of detail.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my standby switch question. I’d already watched three different UA-cam videos on the subject and got 3 different answers. As for looking at forums, boy are some of the users “passionate” on the subject 😀

could you explain and/or show how you mark and drill out the power transformer holes on the chassis. just wondering whats involved in doing that compared to the valve sockets that are round. I'd imagine getting nice straight lines requires a different set of tools to do the job cleanly?
