Can't Make Connections in Bulk

Making connections is essential to building a great team. But you can't build connections in bulk.
You can't do ice breaker questions, team building games, or "go around the room" and build real connection. Those "tricks" don't work.
Real connection between people is done 1-1.
What you CAN do is give people opportunities to talk and work together. Encourage them to get to know each other 1-1. Have them work on a project together. Have them learn to trust each other by getting things done.
Don't try to build connection with people in bulk. Make time for them to do it the old fashioned way. One on one.
