Being a Golden Retriever Owner I can tell that it's not as easy as it seems to raise a Goldie. Even though they are one of the most intelligent and gentle dogs, there are quite a few challenges that every new parent goes through. Me again, are you still about. Have a 12 week old Golden puppy and getting mixed advice on how much to feed. So 2 cups of dry food a day. What about wet food? He’s used to his chicken and vegetable loaf.

My dog, charlie is 2. He gets 4 cups of food split between 2 meals. We used to give him like 4 and half maybe 5 cups of food per day but we noticed he was gaining weight so he now only gets 4. Cups and treats. Although sometimes after going to doggy day care we give him a bit more as be will start licking and carrying his bowl around which indicated to us that he’s “PrAcTiCaLlY sTaRvInG”

Currently I’m feeding my 5Month old pup Royal Canin maxi puppy
My puppy is 2.5 months and I give him 52 gms per feed (4 times a day) Royal Canine Golden Retriever puppy Food pack. The bag says Adult Wt. 30 kg - you shd feed your 2 mth old puppy 225 gms per day which when split into 4 parts is approx 54 gms pwr feed.

Maybe You use not 1 cup. 1 cup should be 250ml. Not the free ones

No dogs should be vegetarian
My golden, 9 months old, eats rice, soya, vegetables cooked with ghee. I make it portions , 1 without egg in the morning and 2nd with 1 egg for lunch. I give him veg soup . He is healthy. No complaints so far. My neighbors envy him 😅
