I had a little rig like the one @ the beginning years ago. Wish I still had it. I could throw it in back of the truck and get into some backwaters where I couldn't launch my trailered boat. @5:50; Once again, trl. in too deep. Should be able to drive that boat right on.
Some peoples brains instantly shut off when they get to the boat ramp. A few simple rules to follow to avoid frustration for yourselves and other boaters. If you are un familiar with backing up, launching and retrieving a boat please do not learn to do it at the ramp when it is busy. Same goes for learning to drive a boat. Find a non congested lake or body of water and practice. Please load everything you plan on taking with you in your boat before or while waiting in line to launch rather then when you back down into the launch area. Also have fenders deployed and tie ropes ready to go. Once launched please pull your boat back on the dock (if applicable) as far as possible so the next boats in line can launch. The wash down area is not an unload area or a wash/detail your boat out area. Please hose your boat/trailer down and move on. If you feel the need to do anymore than hose it down please do it at home or a car/truck wash station. Good luck and happy boating.
Worse boat ramp on Lake Wylie! This is at Buster Boyd Bridge off Hwy. 49. Always a rolling wake and a hangout for people not using the ramps and taking up parking space.
4 solid minutes to get a boat onto the trailer. Not including backing the trailer down or pulling the boat out. Even if I had all day I would still just get my feet wet and pull the boat close enough to use the trailer winch.
Well, she was about as helpful as a bee sting. Didn’t have a clue how to direct his backing, how to tie off a line, nada. Bet she can’t use a baitcast reel either.
@@jerryscray1789 Exactly. Initially my two daughters had no clue about helping me launch and retrieve our boat. Now both of them can not only do both but…and here’s a miracle…both can use a baitcast and spincast reels. I KNOW!
That guy is just dying to get speared by a boat. I wouldn’t stand or squat on the trailer when he was trying to get the boat on the trailer. And why didn’t that jackass wear shorts and flip flops? Who goes to the boat ramp wearing jeans and shoes? You know that he wasn’t going to get in the water so why even go? So many questions and I don’t want to know the answers.
I was scratching my head and then I saw the U-haul and went oooooohhhhhhh
Lol!
Paige and Kevin thanks for sharing! Kevin
You're welcome! 😊
I was just thinking, that car is backing down rhe ramp with no trailer. I thought it had to be a crazy person doing that.
Lol!
Sometimes the ramp is like going to the open air comedy club, with no cover...😁
Lol!!
Putting the trailer in too deep is the #1 mistake you see at boat ramps.
Yep.
The U-Haul explained a lot.
When a U-Haul comes in with the trailer - it is best to avoid the area at all costs.
And they seem to OWN the ramp!!!

He had a time getting that on his roof! A truck would be much easier!
You got em again!
I know some of these people have difficulty closing the lid on their Bon Bons.
Awesome video as always! Thanks for posting these vids with the full raw audio.
Thank you for watching!!
If it takes more than 1 try to load your boat onto your trailer... SELL THE BOAT
Sometimes it takes me a couple. 🙋♀️🤣
If it take more than a Mile to load your boat, sell the Mile. Dumb joke, yeah I know, but felt like following your lead.
Big props to my wife. She pilots to the trailer when I back it in. To this day she has done a great job in all sorts of environments
He bought a boat and rents a vehicle to pull it? Or possibly, both boat and truck are rentals?

Looks like you would have used up all your battery if you would have got the entire encounter of the lady in the yellow shirt at the boat ramp.
Yep! I cut a lot out!
@@paigeattheboatramp Thank goodness for ✂️ 😃 .
Yes! 😂

It's terrible!!
Oh look UHAUL just like in south Florida
Thanks Guys

Always a good time at Wake Wylie 👍👍
OMG Paige. I'd hate to have to watch him when the waves are rocky from the wack from the boats on a weekend. How long did it take him anyway?
About 10 minutes or more. I cut a lot out.
That was painful to watch.
Airliners make shorter approaches to landing doing 140 knots than some of these people make trying to get the boat in the vicinity of the trailer.
Why did you not show the rest of the rental truck guy loading the boat? Disappointed
Sorry!
Probably because he's still trying to get it done!
Again I say, some people should never own a boat.
Bad enough, they own a VEHICLE!!

maybe take a few minutes explain things and teach her

The same mistakes day after day. Trailers too deep followed by people backing halfway into the lake to correct. Rinse repeat. Classic!
I would've lost my shit if I was waiting on that.

Gotta love the ones with plenty of opinions, but offer no physical help at all.
