Wow, Hulkling's story is actually really cool! I'm tempted to read the Young Avengers books now.
Hulkling and Wiccan are one of my favorite comic couples. They’re both extremely powerful and extremely cute, and I’m extremely jealous.

It's great to see how these kids have grown from amateur super heroes to occupy such a prominent role in the cosmic side of Marvel, Teddy in particular becoming one of the most politically powerful men in the Marvel Universe.
Thank you. Teddy is 1/3 of my favorite character and love anything Young Avenger Maximoff adjacent. Hard to believe I was born the same year as Billy and Tommy but im twice as old as them. Im old and im still here. Great video.

I adore Teddy so much. I hope Marvel introduces him soon and redeem the Kree Skrill storyline that they did dirty. Hulkling's powers are cool and can cause so much chaotic shenanigans. Him being a prince on earth where his race isn't liked would be a great story arc.
Young Avengers started out great but then I found it hard to get through.
I'm confused by the age difference between Teddy and Genis and Phyla. Teddy should have been much older then either of the other two, yet he seems to be the youngest.

Genis and Phyla were both artificially aged up by their mother. So Teddy is indeed the oldest of the three, but appears physically younger.

Thanks for this great video, it helps having that third or first Mar-Vell son being brought to light now. It somehow helps bring some link between The Kree and the Skrulls. Would love to see more stories with him and the recent Come back of Genis-Vell to tie together that could be fun. And maybe deal with bringing Phyla back too.

They could completely do Teddys original origin. Just makebit his dad was a skrull prince and Mar Vell put Teddy in stasis to be safe.

Why did they name him Hulkling like they are referencing the Hulk when they have nothing in common?
They were all counter parts to the avengers. He used his shape-shifting to take on the hulk role of the team.

How powerful is Hulkling with him being a Kree and Skrull hybrid? Why's he named after the Hulk?
He's named after the Hulk because everyone on the Young Avengers team was named and based after a member of the Avengers when they started. Iron Lad based after Iron Man, Patriot based after Captain America, etc. Wiccan was originally named Asgardian if only because his first magic powers were summoning lightning, even though otherwise he was nothing like Thor.
One of Teddy's 'true forms' made him look big and green, therefore he based himself after Hulk. Unlike Wiccan, he never bothered ditching the name afterwards.
Didn't Hulkling father a child w/ Tigra cuz he disguised himself as Hank Pym during the 1st Civil War?
Teddy did briefly pose as Hank Pym but the one who fathered a child with Tigra was another Skrull, Criti Noll. Although due to the process used to make Noll genetically indistinguishable from Pym, Tigra's son is biologically a human/cat-person hybrid with no detectable Skrull DNA.
