Objectively the idea of someone singing K.K. Slider's little "mi mo mo"s in earnest sounds ridiculous and yet somehow you've convinced me it makes sense
Qumu, you never disappoint. This remix is amazing to listen to and you're honestly one of the best remixers I know. You don't go heavy on the electronic sounds like most others would, but actually introduce lots of instruments that brings a lot of unique elements to the songs. Listening to your music makes it clear you know what you're doing. All of your mixes have a lot of special components that only you can provide for it. It's obvious that you love what you're doing and another thing that makes your music great is the community. You actually see other humans behind the screen and make everyone feel special, no matter how hard it can be. Qumu, I think I speak for nearly everybody listening to this, you truly are an amazing person and we are grateful for the work and care for all you do. Thank you for everything!

I always love Nintendo's fake languages when combined with their music. There's something magical about nonsensical lyrics that... almost emphasizes the actual musical value of a song for non-musicians. A lot of fans and remixers would go against this trope by creating 'english covers' or replacing the vocal line with an instrument, but your insistence to use the original lyrics and vocals warms my heart, Qumu.
I suppose this cover was a little inevitable, being the last big Animal Crossing cover for you, but this 'unique' approach to the remix was a pleasant surprise. :) Stay fresh, Qumu.
After making tons of instrumental covers of K.K. music, it just hit me that it was possible ^^

Let me start of with the fact that I did NOT expect there to be someone singing and it was certainly a very pleasant surprise.
I never really collected any K.K. songs in the games, I tend to put on my own music or listen to a UA-cam video when playing games but now I've learned that I should really give the all the K.K. songs a good listen because all the covers or remixes I've heard has been incredible.

the rhythmic and instrumental choices are all unique and stand out from everybody elses
The approach to the vocals was probably the best choice you could've made in regards to what originally was just sped up vowels and consonants.

I love your take on this one! This is by far the funkiest thing you’ve ever put out, but about 1/3 in, you start to add some of your more traditional sounds that gives it your distinct mark. Loved this so much.

I’m so happy that qumu made a remix of one of my favorite animal crossing songs!! The funny thing is the reason I listen to Qumu is cause of the bubblegum k.k remix. Qumu makes such amazing remixes the singing is so angelic it really ties in with the relaxing yet upbeat and funky instrumentals this is a song that gives so goosebumps every time you listen to it keep up the good work Qumu!!
