Ive been a huge fan of Wentworth Woodhouse since I first discovered it in 1999. Before that I did not know it existed and am raised in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. I have been following your progress with great interest and would like to congratulate you all on your splendid efforts so far. What a job you have taken on, but without it this architectural treasure would have deteriorated beyond economic repair. We have booked a visit this December and I frankly cannot wait. It will be the first time actually in the house and I have visited many times over the years. Well done is not anywhere near good enough. Thank you all for saving it. Best wishes Marco Serafini.
Thank you to all the trades undertaking this work, especially the historical masonry work. Nice to see lots of younger people with traditional skills, too.
It’s so wonderful to see this beautiful part of the house being restored so it can have a functional use. Can’t wait for a visit when all is completed! Well done everyone!❤
The stable block was the view from my college window (in Stubbs) for 3 years - never tired of looking at that view! So glad the time, money and effort is being put into this restoration!
This is just so exciting. I really can’t wait for it to be up and functional. It’s just marvellous that the trust have been formed and have saved this incredible structure which was in such desperate need of restoration.

The stables are coming along very well. When do you expect them to be complete so that visitors can walk around the area?
