I have always wanted to go here. I love to find the National Parks that are a bit more remote and not as heavily visited. This is on the bucket list for me! The Visitor Center looks very nice too! 😊
It's an absolutely beautiful park, Anita. We saw so much wildlife and the mountains are stunning. Sadly, I don't use a camera but an inexpensive cell phone. In the footage we have you can barely make out the Rams and other animals and the wind noise is horrible. We're going to do part two this weekend but I don't know how much of it is really usable other than the historic ranch. Thanks so much for watching and your lovely comment.
@@TravelingTramps Yes I would like to get a camera that can zoom into wildlife better as well. I have taken some footage on my phone of big horn sheep and they just look so small. Hopefully you find some footage that works!

It's a beautiful park and the only bugs we saw we in the visitor center. Probably because it was January. The mountains are beautiful but not nearly as big as out your way. The highest is Guadalupe Mountain which is less the 8000 feet. We loved our time there! Thanks so much for coming along.

It rained twice in the 4 months we spent there this winter and then not a lot. Still their is so much beauty and life there once you see it. I say that because the first time we visited years ago all I could think of was sage brush (tumbleweeds) blowing past. Then we took walks out there and discovered all the hidden canyons, flowers, and wildlife. it was just beautiful. Now we return every winter and love it! OMG! I'm 3-videos behind, I'm sinking fast, lol. I love this, my wife said we are going to retire to Texas, I don't think she's ever been there, but she has relative there. I want to retire in Arizona, or maybe even Nevada, but most likely Arizona. You always have so much fun, I like the Klondikes, they are always at State Fair, and my favorite horse, they are so strong. I don't think I saw this video last time, glad I caught it this time though. Looks like such a great place to visit, I really love this, you have covered the entire US by now. Enjoy summer at home.

Guadalupe Mountains does look beautiful. I wish it were visited more often. But as hard as it is to get to, it does make sense that it is one of the least visited national parks. We would love to see it someday anyway!

Those mountains were breathtaking and I really enjoyed seeing that museum with all the animals, insects and history of the area. There's so much to learn! Seeing the desert is so fascinating for me since I've never been in a place with anything near such a dry landscape. Thanks so much for coming along with us Frederike. It's a beautiful park and the mountains stunning! The desert can be a beautiful place once you get past the dryness. It rained twice in the 4 months we spent there this winter and then not a lot. Still their is so much beauty and life there once you see it. I say that because the first time we visited years ago all I could think of was sage brush (tumbleweeds) blowing past. Then we took walks out there and discovered all the hidden canyons, flowers, and wildlife. it was just beautiful. Now we return every winter and love it! The National Parks are starting to do a wonderful job with their visitor centers, Cindee. It's a shame that their limiting entry (or were anyway) because of covid. Hopefully that will pass soon! We love the Guadalupe mountains! Those mountains are huge for sure, and they’re so mesmerizing to watch. Not many people like that drive. Those bugs look mean 😆. It’s nice to know how the mountains were formed. Take care, and hope you all are well.

You've never seen a skunk, Sharon? We could send you one!🤣 We saw so many animals here including tons of Rams. But I use a inexpensive cell phone for filming and couldn't zoom in. That's a nice visitors center. It's actually like a museum. Nice displays. Yep, you found a pole cat. Must avoid at all costs. I've had so much trouble with wind and fail connections. I just bought the new DJI Daul wireless mic. Hope that cures my problems. Hope you continue enjoying your trip👍96👍

OMG! I'm 3-videos behind, I'm sinking fast, lol. I love this, my wife said we are going to retire to Texas, I don't think she's ever been there, but she has relative there. I want to retire in Arizona, or maybe even Nevada, but most likely Arizona. You always have so much fun, I like the Klondikes, they are always at State Fair, and my favorite horse, they are so strong. I don't think I saw this video last time, glad I caught it this time though. Looks like such a great place to visit, I really love this, you have covered the entire US by now. Enjoy summer at home.

Guadalupe Mountains does look beautiful. I wish it were visited more often. But as hard as it is to get to, it does make sense that it is one of the least visited national parks. We would love to see it someday anyway!
