I just did mine and it turned out great! I used new laces that were 45inch. At first I thought they were going to be too long when I was done. But I went really loose on each loop and then doubled back and loosened them a little more. After all that I got the leftover lace hanging to be just right(not stepping on them at all). I definitely don't recommend going longer than 45inch ones. Also keep in mind how many holes your shoes have. The ones in the video has 8 holes, some shoes have as little as like 5 so there would definitely be wayyyy more left over lace.

Ive got so thinn Feeds... if i would lace them like that, they would fall off every step i take... my problem is, when i lace them tight ive got sooo muche lace left and dont know what to do with it (even when i do a double loop it would reach down to earth... thats so discusting)

Definitely not. Vans were primarily used to skate. I’ve been wearing old school vans for almost 20yrs and I can say people who were in gangs back then wore Nike Cortez, blue, red or black chucks and more basketball type Nike shoes. Vans were always for grunge people and skaters. Later on taggers copied the same look as skaters, maybe that’s what you are referring to, but definitely not a gang member style.
