It should be this way. Investors and shareholders should not be making decisions on how the business is run especially when the shareholders have no expertise. That's a very bad idea. Focusing on short term profitability risk long term non viability of a business.

Depends on your finances . 1000$ in NVDA34K is 4000 NVDA34K if it goes to 50% of ath in 2024 thats a 600% gain. If it goes equal to ath . Its a 1200% gain.
i understand Parkev's point, and it is valid, however the AI spend is not the same as spend on a consumer discretionary item like Meta goggles. AI is important part of the hyper-scalers business function and operation. None of them can afford to let the other get ahead on providing access to tools that facilitate AI apps. The earnings releases has made it clear the AI buildout will continue unabated for the next 2-5 years. For example META said they will need 10x the compute power they have now to train Llamm4 model in the next couple of years. Folks that's a lot of GPU demand that will either come from NVDA or they will have to buy the capacity from one of the big three hyper-scalers. Buckle up and best of luck to you all !!!

It’s going to start, imho, in the medical field where breakthroughs in things like image processing and cancer diagnoses earlier than ever and possibly eradicating some cancers from the human ethos. Breakthroughs in other areas will come as well but I think medicine will be a huge winner and by default the human race will win as well. The AI revolution is going to be a marathon folks, we’re still in the early miles of the race. It’s going to take time for software to catch up to the hardware spend.
