Virtual Dog Walk. River Severn From Bewdley. Early Morning | 4K Video | HQ Audio

- Join me and Ruby on this early morning virtual dog walk that takes in the lovely River Severn as I set off from a car park in Bewdley. High-quality audio was recorded on the River Severn whilst I walked upstream ahead. The video is recorded in stabilised 4k, so I hope you can make the best of that on your screen and internet. We enjoyed many drops down to the river, and Ruby takes a swim and smells just about everything possible during our dog walk together.
Along the walk, we spotted numerous swans, ducks and other wildlife to make the walk peaceful and interesting.
Towards the end, people are out and about more, and you can see some nice self-control from Ruby as I call her in and implement a sit or down stay as joggers, cyclist and other people walked by us. You can begin to see how her behaviour is more settled as she matures and this degree of control, when needed, gives me more and more confidence to let her make more decisions without me - to go slightly further ahead without me right by her side as the recall and basic control with distractions is all greatly improved as a result of consistent dog training. Remember that you're seeing a culmination of 18 months of steady input to get to this point and this is what every pet dog can obtain without too much difficulty.
Please be sure to like and share and also to leave your comments as I experiment a little with these enjoyable dog walks as they take you on a relaxing and enjoyable journey.

Thanks for sharing Garmin Location!
Thank you, interesting you started from Dog Lane - can you park free there? Lovely video - nice dog and I did like the rich colors, nature sounds and scenery and the Severn. I visited Bewdley over the weekend and I want to move near there.
Pleased you liked it David thank you. Bewdley is a lovely town and I love living there, though I’m more behind the Safari Park end 🦛
@@AlphaDogBehaviour I so agree, I was by the Safari Park Saturday, I'd like to live somewhere quiet within a mile or 2 of Bewdley.
You should have a few nice options open to you. Good luck.
@@AlphaDogBehaviour Thanks that is good to know, with luck I will move there in 2023.
Hello I honestly love your videos they help me answer so many of my questions I wanted a cockapoo for about a year now and kept asking my parents are their any tips before getting one
There are so many factors to consider when looking for a puppy, but always see the mother and take at 8 weeks so that you can fully socialise it :)
I should add that Ruby is a mini goldendoodle :)
Dog Behaviourist. Dog Expert Witness. Nick Jones MA yes hi sorry for the late reply I was meant to say golden doodle I have writing cockapoo so many times when searching for it that automatically corrects 😂😂 is Ruby an F1
She’s an F1b. Gets complicated doesn’t it?!
Dog Behaviourist. Dog Expert Witness. Nick Jones MA I know right F1 F2 F1b 😂😂 it really does are there any differences except sizes
Hi we are getting our puppy tomorrow do you have any advice on taking him home?
Yes. Watch the Puppy Training Journey videos as as a lot of that is covered. Good luck!
Dog Behaviourist. Dog Expert Witness. Nick Jones MA Ok , we have a bit of a problem now our puppy (cockapoo) is digging lots of holes in our garden and because he is doing this he is not doing his business and ended up doing it inside
What an absolute joy of a dog to watch! She's a credit to you, even at such a young age, she has this love of freedom and energy and yet clearly a great recall. Such enthusiasm for everything.
She has continued to be a gem , and as you say, a nice camper of how it can turn out when all aspects are carefully considered. Thank you.
