It’s absolutely stunning 😭 when I did the blonde, I took your advice and bought two boxes so I wouldn’t have to go back out lol I had “hot roots” in the very front but my whole head still took color well. A suggestion I have is to wait a day before putting the color on your hair - I slept with a mask in my hair after it turned blonde and it felt like butter. Only thing I really did different was add a little “Paprika” Adore coloring because I wanted more of of burnt copper tone and it worked!

I’m doing this right now! My hair is thick so I had to use 4 boxes total. I had the opposite issue. My ends are naturally lighter than my roots. So my ends took the color very well, but my half of my hair was still dark. I had to do a second round as well. I put on a plastic cap the second round and put my blow dryer on a low setting. That’s when my hair understood the assignment. Currently, I got the adore color on now. Let’s hope for the best!
Also, how long did you have the adore on your head? I didn’t blow dry my hair again. I just washed the box dye out, shampooed and then towel dry and put the adore on. Currently I’ve had it on an hour
@@lilmissken I would have definitely blow dry the hair first. I don’t know if it will take as it should on wet hair. I left mine on for an 30 mins to an hour Leave yours on for a while to make sure the color takes

Hicolor highlights dye worked on my permed hair but i believe it has bleach actually in the dye but u don’t need like to buy bleach and it’s not a lot of bleach in it and it looks rlly good and it was fun to do

When using adore by itself after rinsing out the box dye, I leave adore on for 1 hr. It makes the color brighter. If you want, you can sit under a dryer for 15 minutes on warm heat then sit out of the dryer for 30 more minutes and get basically the same result.

I wanna try orange but I think on a wig, I dyed my real hair once and put a perm in it weeeks later girl alll my hair burnt right off😂😂😂😂 it grew back now and it’s all natural so im kinda scared for life
LOL I learnt the hard way too. But color and relaxer is a no no. That's two chemicals mixing together-recipe for disaster. I just did a peak-a-boo color (perimeter of my head) on my natural hair because I'm too afraid to commit to my whole head. It a really cute, you should try

I had some hot spots where my hair is still dark brown but for the most part it turned out beautifully. I didnt have any curl damage and my hair did not break off! Im going to wait a while a touch up brown spots and then do another fiery copper rinse on it! Thank you.

Mine did not turn out that color , I’m redoing it in acouple days. I’m trying to see where I went wrong ,I think I may of colored it to blonde with the textures and tones.
So what color do you recommend dying it too? I personally just ended up bleaching mine with a 40 volume developer until it was like a honey blonde and then put the adore Cajun spice on it and it became the color on the hair sample at the BSS. But it wasn’t the color she has .🤷🏾♀️

I washed the box dye out first and yes I did everything the same day.
