This takes me down memory lane...I miss my days in the UB choir. So grateful ❤️💞 that I stumbled on this... seeing faces I've not seen in over ten years my heart as I sing along. I pray and hope we are all doing well in our respective corners. Love and blessings ❤️💖
I believe the Ibibio of Akwa Ibom and the Efik of Cross River State in Nigeria will understand this song because there is so much similarity with the tongue, dance, and dress sense. pls educate me the great Ejaghams of Cameroon. Abasi means God in Efik and Ibibio tribe in Nigeria as well.
Joseph Abah the Ibibios and Efik won't understand but the Ejaghams in Cross River State (Ikom area) will understand. The cultures are pretty similar though. Only a line drawn by the colonial masters separates us.
Hi, my name is Ejenobasi I am Ejagham in Cross River state..precisely from Etung local government carved out from Ikom. We do not speak same language with the Efiks or Ibibio but our culture and language are similar to the Manyu division people in Cameroon. You can follow me @ejaghampeople on Instagram so I can shed more light. Long Live Ejagham in Nigeria and Cameroon
We always have that as plans but we are always limited by financial and the required administrative procedures to do so. YOur ideas could be of intense help. You can meet us on facebook at UB CHOIR
