Rift Apart is okay and all, but god damn, i'm REALLY not a fan of how they ditched this style of music for the bland, generic 'heroic sounding' orchestral background noise. This is not only a memorable track on it's own, it fits the Sci-Fi theme of the series better, and it PERFECTLY captures the atmosphere of this planet. This song gives me the chills, you can just FEEL the hopeless, the desolation. This was once a healthy planet with beautiful, sprawling landscapes, and it's been polluted beyond repair, into an impossible to navigate, completely abandoned, uninhabitable mess of machinery, smoke and toxicity, where you can't even look far enough to see the sky. I've beaten Rift Apart multiple times now and I legitimately can't remember ONE song from it, no i'm not exaggerating. I'd say this track alone made me feel more emotions than the entirety of Rift Apart.
I'd probably say the only decent soundtrack in Rift Apart is Blizar's but even then it doesn't have any footing against any of the soundtracks from the original trilogy.
Its 1 year later but lets go. The soundtrack from the first 3 Ratchet & Clank games is much better and planet customized than everything else after, the first game was specially unique about that, but there are some very good tracks in the 2nd and 3rd game. And yeh...i mostly cant remember most of the tracks from the other games, i played all of them but the all4one and full frontal assault. The remake while good but still inferior, lacks the superior soundtrack and in other topic, it lacks some good levels, like Orxon and Gemlik base :/ which were some of the more fun and challeging in a good way ( for me in a bad way was the Oltanis planet, only level i disliked)
This track feels like it has an extended version somehwere where it has a drop and the beat just goes crazy, the whole song feels like it's building towards that
Bruh thank you, and yeah I'll have a go at Gemlik Base aswell, I've managed to get my hands on the samples used in the Gemlik Base soundtrack so yeah I'll totally give it a go!!!
I cannot get over just how perfectly they nailed the "Toxicity" feel with this track, it tells you that this planet is exceptionally dangerous. And it actually is!
This is great, not a complete remake like I've seen others do. This seems like you just found the samples used, and overlayed them ontop of the original track? Did the job, sounds stereo enough! Would love to see Quartu next, that's my favourite track in the game.

Since rift apart is on pc now it can theoretically be modded with ratchet and clank 1 music.
Ya RaC 1 leaned more toward the hybrid of platformer and shooter so you can get many not "hype adrenaline mountain dew up your veins" tracks

I was scared as fuck by this place and this soundtrack as a kid. And the Clank-only part theme is even scarier.
Orxon was easily the scariest level I had ever played as a kid, forcibly getting separated from Ratchet made me feel so helpless.
This is the ideal R&C music for me. Ambient, but still with a pronounced beat. Plus, it actually stands out
1:35 Holy shit i recognize that sound from UYA multiplayer, planet hoven. Didn't remember it being here too. Hit me with nostalgia
The same sound is used in the OST track 'Leviathan' from Up your Arsenal too.
Was always the most stressful level. Getting rid of the habit of jumping when your magnetized onto surfaces with your boots
When you have athlete's feet!

This is great to listen to while exploring Farron Keep in Dark Souls 3

This is absolutely amazing, thank you so much for doing this! Fkn loved this track and you've made it so clear
Oh my god, this is incredible! Any chance you could make other tracks like Gemlik Base?

2 years later, he released an unfinished version of Gemlik base. Hey, it's something
@@maestrofeli4259 I just saw it, because of your reply.
Hopefully he does the full version :)
Great work, its such a shame the first soundtrack wasnt released in full stereo, but this is the next best thing!
☢️I love this poison green atmosphere that Orxon and Zaun radiate☢️

If you're ever able to do veldin in peril, lemme know, i'd love to hear that as a stereo soundtrack. This one is amazing though
Who started 2020 on planet Orxon
