If indeed the first three shots were fired in self-defence, then that suggests a stolen vehicle being used as a potential murder weapon. To then convict Clegg for the fourth shot would be highly dubious given he was acting in the heat of the moment under extreme alarm and stress caused by the actions of the driver of the vehicle.
He has to live with it and when he goes to bed he will remember her.

Im certain people like that exist but these guys faked injury, threw a party and even in aquittal the judge spoke of how cleggs testimony was riddled with lies while he tried to absolve himself of responsibility.
There is no remorse in them, they only ever cared about getting away with it.
They had a party in their barrack the night they killed the two. British soldiers never gave a fuck about Irish people!

Karen Reilly knew what was going to happen when getting into that car, had they known it was just joyriders. They would had simply left it for the RUC to simply lift them, but tragically they mistook them for IRA terrorists!
He was convicted of murder, they never mistook them for anything other than what they were - kids out joyriding in a place that didnt care about them surrounded by murder and mayhem.
You can give all the excuses to him that you want, the facts remain, he was convicted of murder.
