- In the last two years, we’ve seen some of the biggest raids on POGOs operating as criminal hubs. These raids have a common denominator: The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission was involved.
In this episode of In The Public Square, Rappler columnist and editorial consultant John Nery is joined by PAOCC spokesperson Winston John Casio. They discuss the recent developments from the Senate hearings, and how the PAOCC has been dealing with the issue.

Kudos to PAOC for all their efforts and hard work though sad to know that there are hundreds of illegal companies operating under POGO… PAOC needs more budget/manpower to stop these problems…

Can’t believe PAGCOR is not involved, that it’s merely a matter of technical incompetence on their part. A huge criminal enterprise such as the POGUO operating right under PAGCOR’s very nose, in plain sight, not excluding our propensity as Filipinos to be bribed and hence turn a blind eye, this assertion is a bit of a stretch and naive. Apparently, there is a world of truth to what Sen. Gatchalian pointed out: The Chinese know us more than we know ourselves.

i doubt if pagcor is not involved. from the senate hearing it's clear that pagcor has accountability for allowing pogo in bamban continue to operate considering that their permit was already cancelled and instead issued temporary permit.
Alice Guo is involved in the Bamban pogo based on documentary evidence. She was the one who applied for the business permit. The disconnection notice of the electric cooperative is under her name, which means the account is hers.

The legal “front business” is just like the tip of the iceberg of organized crime.
So many investigations/busts by PNP, etc. , have proven this out .
