White Pine Logging and Threshing Show 2024! Museum in Motion/Antique Tractors on Display

- It's quickly becoming an annual tradition to head out to McGrath, MN for the White Pine Logging and Threshing Show on Labor Day weekend. It's a fun time for all with watching Steam Engines running sawmills, water wheel grain mill, hit-and-miss engines, Fairbanks morse engines, threshing oats, newspaper printing, and a parade every day. This year's featured tractor was Avery, but there was plenty of John Deere, Farmall, Case, Allis Chalmers, Cockshutt, Massey Harris, Oliver, Hart Parr, Rumely, and more! The kids always have fun seeing everything and doing a bit of shopping at the flea market. We highly encourage everyone to visit White Pine at least once. We also really enjoyed getting to visit with viewers of our channel.

Trinity Dairy was established in 2006, in Minnesota. Alan and Jennifer farm with their 5 children; Jessica, Justin, Jordan, Joshua, and Jason. Your children are growing taller. So good to see them enjoying this and the weather looked reasonably good as well.
We have steam shows at our town, but I never seemed to get there at the right time to actually see them work. And it is always super hot and humid. Thanks.

The best part is that your kids know how it's done now, and can see what has changed in the last century. It's a hands on history lesson for them, but very few people realize what has happened in the last 100 years, or even the last 20 years to advance farmers production! Great video, Mom!

Alan, did your grandpa ever run a belt driven implement on your farm?
Yeah, when he was younger, they ran a thrash machine, silo filler, and buzz saw. But I can even remember when I was little, they were still using a belt driven silo blower. I still have the belt in the shed.
