I am asked to evaluate whether the damage to the German reputation from counterfeiting would have been prohibitive in a scenario where Germany's reputation was devastated by genocide and other war crimes. I am sure that there are persons who would be more outraged by the former than the latter, but their thinking to me is so alien that I cannot form an adequate model for projection of their response.

It's possible the repercussion of hyperinflation and it's demoralisation of Britain at the time may have persuaded Winston Churchill to either agree to Neville Chamberlain signing of the term for Nazis laid out for them to never go to war with each other or to step down and let Neville Chamberlain take charge and we all know how that would have ended for Britain. This could have single-handedly caused a major blow to the allied forces and who is to know where this would have taken the war.
