i have a question and would be great if you could reply .. so after partitioning if I want to apply pressure across the plate on one of the surfaces (each thickness 1 and length 5) how can I do that ? I have much similar problem and my plate (100 mm wide) needs a pressure across the plate on a 2 mm wide surface .. but after partitioning i cannot apply pressure as I cannot select any such surface on the plate during load application, even though the surface is there. Why is this happening if you could comment

Hi, thanks for the video. I tried to follow the steps however I have encountered a few issues: 1) I can't mesh the part using an independant instance, so I tried to follow the exact steps using a dependant one. 2) Even after completing all steps, the resulting mesh looks different and when I run the job, the results show no deformation. I have just started learning abaqus so I am not really used to it yet.

I DONT HAVE WORDS TO SAY THANK YOU
Really nice tutorial! Thanks.
we could,ve selected the datum points as nodes then why did we create partitions.

Isn't it necessary to make assembly
can we apply two different material after making the partition parts?
