You're so right! The runs are unreal. Amazing
It's called being a coloratura, for us doing runs are naturally easy, much easier (and personally more fun) than holding a long note, singing big&powerful stuff. It's our strong point, and we are worse at the other stuff. It's just different. Personally it's kinda funny how amazed other people are with agility when it's so daily for me. I wonder if it's the same for other coloraturas too. I'm like "You are saying moving your voice isn't easier than holding it still for pretty much everyone? Your voice just sits like a good boy? What do you eat?" But again grass is always greener on the other side.

Jack is one of the most naturally talented people of his generation. No gimmicks, no flashy nonsense to bolster an image. Just intense, amazing talent that bring the pure emotion out in every song he sings. And his understated persona makes you able to relate to and care about him.

This is INSANE how much he's grown, not just physically but vocally. I remember him as the tiny little kid back from his Australia's Got Talent days, he's done so much to progress to where he is now. Well earned 4 chair turn audition!

bowie1953 the thing is, neither guy, nor the other coaches pick the songs. There’s a internal music department for exactly that, they are basically just doing what the producers are telling them to. I’m a former contestant of the German kids version of this show.

If he picked anyone but Guy he would have won
It had nothing to do with winning though, he picked the right judge. He wanted someone to help him Heal, and Guy did that for him. Wasn't a win journey, it was about bringing his love of music back, getting back in touch with himself and why he sings. To bring the pain forward rather then hide it, and use it to inspire his music.
His voice got really really deep with a lot of texture and improvement on technique. As well as his range is amazing from lows to highs.
White Wolf his upper register is a bit push, strained and unpleasant sounding non the less he is amazing
Nope he's upper register is mix chest and head blended , his frequencys are very moving

Barry Family did Jack already compete in knockouts, I’ve been obsessing the net for his performance and mainly to see if he won the knockouts. I love Jack, all the way from NYC. Australians Voice is so much more competitive and better then US Voice. So glad Kelly is representing us and she’s doing bomb, love u Kelly.

If this is an indication of the talent, then I'm glad I don't watch the show. And listening to this squawking doesn't make me want to watch it.
But I guess you cant expect much, when something like Guy Sebastian is the judge. I just hope anyone that Guy likes remembers how he has changed from a Christian, getting the church to pay for his singing lessons, to the worldly individual he is now. How easily they change just to fit in. Sad when you have to question the integrity of the judges.

He stopped singing for 5 years because of pressure, online bullying and just an overwhelming amount of negativity/not knowing where to go with his career. He explained that before his performance and also afterwards during the judges comments, but these clips don’t show those parts

I think I was thrown by all the hype. I honestly didn't think I would like his performance as much as I did. His performance was so good, and he seemed so genuine and grateful. It's a little heartbreaking that with all his talent he's had such a hard, lonely road. Will be rooting for him!
