"I may not know the moment or I may not know the day". I've heard this song hundreds of times probably. I've sang along to it so many times. But never have the lyrics impacted me like they do now. I didn't realize I could cry to such an upbeat song.
My daughter is 8 years old and she just told me she loves this song. By the way Amber my girls love going to your inlaws place and doing the axe throwing.
Talk about rocking a joint! Rex was always so very proud of his family (including), all the young ones who traveled with the Nelons. He would be so proud yet! Now, wait til we all get home to Heaven and sing our praises to our Heavenly KING.... talk about thunder in the sky!!!
I blame this tragic crash on the pilot, Larry Hanie. Lack of knowledge & training to fly this type of aircraft. Larry Hanie killed all 7 people on the plane. He was inexperienced & should have never been flying solo. I'm dying do to a doctor doing a heart procedure he had no business doing & when chief surgeon was called in to try & fix his mess up I died twice on the table & just found out my days on earth will be cut short. I will spend my days listening to the Nelons. R.I.P. Kelly, Jason & Amber. Your work on earth is done. Well done thou good & faithful servants. Enter now the joy of the Lord you serve. I still tear up over the tragic loss & former military aren't suppose to show emotions. After Air Force I got into music playing trumpet, drums, guitar, as well as being a vocal soloist. Now all this has come to a close as I get weaker every day. Soon I will be gone but that's ok. Not my will but God's be done.
Was this preformed in freedom hall in Louisville? I like that location a lot better than the new one, but I guess the new one is not 60 years old like Freedom Hall.
I wouldn’t down vote. I love the Nelons ... just as good in person as on CD. My issue with this song and other versions is that it seems too polished and lacking emotion than that of the McGruders.
Gospel singers make nowhere near the money that secular artists make and they don't sing in the venues that secular artists do. A lot of Gospel singers have full time jobs to make up for the revenue. They have expenses like everyone else and then some given the business they're in. Keep in mind Amber and her husband were young and may not have had life insurance nor a whole lot of savings. They couldn't afford the IVF treatments, they had to get grants. Kelly and Jason may not even have had a will. No one is forced to contribute. Kelly and Jason just recently purchased a farm so it's probably not, I'm sure, paid yet. People like the Nelons sing because of their love for God and not to get rich! How much have they given away to charity? Perhaps Autumn can't access her parent's assets just yet. We don't know all the facts! They need compassion, love and support at this time NOT hurtful, ignorant and uncaring remarks!
