Hi...So I got the plugin installed...set the screens correctly BUT for some reason when pressing buttons on the G1000 bezal, it says UNMAPPED for both the PFD1 and MFD1 units....ANY help would be appreciated thanks!!!
Is there a Complete ready to fly Simulator setup with an actual Cockpit (Panel no panel Stands) that includes Yoke Throtle Rudders and evry thing Needed to just Step in adjust the seat, Fasten your seat belt & sholder harnes and Turn the Key? That I'd be Intrested in.
When doing this setup and clicking the panel screen in xplane the screen does pop out but it also has all of the buttons and keys attached to it visually in the program is there some way to remove this so it looks better while being displayed in the physical g1000
I have G1000 Cirrus perspective package. Thanks for this video.... answers there question of hours to get rid of the white bar on top of MDF and PDF. I'll also be checking the rest of the config. Thanks for the great info👍🏿
Glad we could help! If you're having trouble with anything else you can email our support team at support@realsimgear.com, or give us a call and we can get work through any troubleshooting with you.
We don't have a video just yet, though the process is still very similar. Here is an article on our website of what has been currently tested as XP12 is still in Beta. help.realsimgear.com/en/articles/6536633-realsimgear-x-plane-12-compatibility
Do y’all have any updates to the plug-in? It seems to be missing a lot of the functionality of the real g1000. Like the flight planning on the MFD and updated databases for departures etc.
Not everytime, luckily! X Plane will remember the placement of the screens. If you move the screens around in Display Options, or restart your PC, you may have to drag them over to the hardware again.
The white bar on the left MFD screen keeps showing up not like the PFD! What am I missing here? I spent like 45 minutes repeating your steps over and over but that white bar on top keeps showing up. Please help!
Hmm, I would triple check to see if the monitor for the MFD is below the main monitor in the Display Settings. That way you can hide it. If it's still giving you trouble feel free to give us a call or shoot us an email at support@realsimgear.com
@@RealSimGear thanks for the reply. I figured it out. I found out that when I put the two sim monitors adjacent to each other (both as you suggested on one side of the main monitor) the white bar will keep showing only on the farthest sim monitor. So I put each sim monitor on one side of the main monitor and the problem was solved :) Thanks for the follow up. By the way, it's agame changer and I love it... A lot.
Hey there unfortunately we have not made a video for MSFS and the G1000 yet. Email support is your best solution, but I'll also provide a setup guide article here: help.realsimgear.com/en/articles/4758392-setup-guide-for-realsimgear-g1000-gen4 - The MSFS setup is at the bottom
Hello, I am having issues with my real sim gear g1000. I am trying to connect it to xplane 12, however it is not detecting any hardware when I start a flight. I go to the connected hardware section and nothing shows up. Could I get someone to help me with this issue? Thank you
If a study level sr 22/20 comes to msfs will you guys accomodate it? I can’t deal with the default one from the systems to the flight model! It’s a disgrace!
I apologize for the delay on this but I haven't quite got to it. It's on the calendar for after Oshkosh this July so you can expect the video to be released sometime in August. In the meantime we are happy to assist you in setting it up or with any questions if you email us at support@realsimgear.com. Thanks for your patience!
Great video! Thx....one question...How are you rising your monitor so that you can see over your g1000 panel?
An you use the G1000 screen on an Airbus ?
Id like to know if ALL version of the G1000 by realsimgear have backlit buttons....? Thx

Yes, and they are very expensive.

We're stoked too, Alek!

@@RealSimGear will these work with Arma 3?
Do you have a video for installing real sim gear plug in into X-Plane 12

Those switches are backlight?
They sure are!
How did you setup your screen 4 (below screen 1). Looks like it is on a sectional.
I set it up as the instructor station. You can choose it from the drop down menu in the graphics tab
Hello do we have to do this every time we open up xplane
Not everytime, luckily! X Plane will remember the placement of the screens. If you move the screens around in Display Options, or restart your PC, you may have to drag them over to the hardware again.
I the main monitor why don’t you hide the instrument panels ?

Of course! We too are disappointed with the default Cirrus in MSFS and hope someone makes a more full featured model in the future.
