@Doom Slayer Well I’d hardly call Samus uncommon, I see her EVERYWHERE. What IS uncommon is finding a Samus that doesn’t roll to one side of the map and spam projectiles the entire match.
@@EduardoFlores-bt4fo the both commentators did say 2 different things. The first one said, that a big enough charge shot can go through a grenade while the second commentators stated, that if the charge shot is small enough, it won´t even connect to a grenade on the ground.
It's interesting to see how much quik uses bomb, I don't see it from a lot of Samus players, when I mean it's a pretty good move. It's a movement option, you can lock an opponent to get a grab, scare the opponent from approaching, use it to mix up your recovery, edge gaurd, ledge trap, extend your distance offstage to edge gaurd, etc.
@@thelifesampler its mandatory now too if you want to kill early. I've caught a roll witha bomb near ledge and it let me F smash a dickhead into oblivion
I spam bombs and no one knows where I am going able to switch up movements crazy no one usings the bombs as Samus as much as I do. It's the most underrated move.
Not really: unlike other characters, Samus doesn't rely on lengthy combos that require starting with the perfectly timed tilt, which is IMO the largest hurdle to overcome for most people. With Samus, get the general feel, understand how to do things, and improve upon it. Not *easier*, but at least, less complex.
I guess I need to take SSBMagy's and Gosu's advice then. Because I am definitely better than this guy. He is missing way way way too many set ups, true's, and psychs.. and I've probably been playing smash bros longer than this individual has even been alive. This gave me a big confidence boost. If this is God tier, then I'm definitely in whatever next tournament if I can be. Is there any serious money involved?
And this is all pre-buff samus.
Really happy Samus isn’t trash in this game, and even happier that players like Quik are showing that you can do some cool ass shit with her

@@madduxnagel6935 other samus players do that? that seems pretty dumb to do.
Him
I love how he runs in a circle against peach like wondering what to do and then just shoots her
samus uses confusion, its super effective.
@@ayar2 lol. Peach was probably confused

I know. Either commentators only want to listen to their own voices or he was being a jerk.

"He cannot get through!"
My favorite part of the video.
Absolutely the funniest part. That needs to be a clip on its own

I love european commentators. They actually talk about what's going on on screen.
Mine as well 😂
Look at that wall.

oh really? wtf men ? I didnt know modern smash players were so trash . Using bombs was mandatory in 64 and melee

Getting ledge trapped by Quik is PTSD-inducing
I am French and smus is ma main and saw QUIK play is so cool and I feel so happy
Watching this to better understand Samus play. Looks really difficult.
:v Meh, just Let it be

Wrong, Samus’ low priority aerials (unlike nair in melee) make her extremely nuanced to use at the pro level. Wave bouncing the entire match

Hello to all Metroid fans ; )
do the down-b bombs change color depending on the skin?
The bombs in the first clip are practically invisible against that first background
The man who got me to main Samus
My best and most favorite to play
man over does it with his pops lol
I am working on mailing samus and I am learning so much from this
Only samus mains can like this comment.
HE DO BE QUICK DOE
Yo I’m a samus main and you inspire
Unpopular opinion: Samus is the best zoner in Smash Ultimate.
Not the best zoner but a zoner with some really good aerials
yeah, that probably goes to Snake, ROB, or Olimar before Samus tbh
@@Koishi97 Still pretty damn good tho...
I think so too 🙂
A great zoner with a pretty solid combo game.
Bruh this dude's reads
I was thinking the same thing. His timing is impeccable
Oh very nice🏆
How did he do 2 upb at the beginning? (something like 0:20)
He regular jumped then he upB'd
Legend
Wow so much skill
i main samus this guy is great!

Old Quik was so scrappy. Current Quik plays more careful.
