Little known fact: all the songs that were used in both gundam battle assault 1 and 2 have titles. This song is called 'Take It Up A Notch.' How fuckin appropriate is that?
God I was so young playing these games that I literally didn't understand the concept of combos, etc. I would just button-mash like a mad man trying to not die. Somehow I made it through I think just about every single "boss" though. I literally would come up with bizarre mantras/chants to say as I played as I attempted to keep hyper focus haha, oh my god some of the most intense game playing of my entire life...I was probably...I dunno 9 or 10 if it was around 2005? This and Megaman X5 slayed my poor soul lol so difficult to beat as a little kid
Gundam Battle Assault 2 was my gold standard for years, until I imported Gundam Extreme vs. and Gundam Extreme vs. Full Boost xD I still love this game and its music!
dud this song need to be remastered into a more clearer version really hard, the guitar is too sick to have this noise in the background, but I'm satisfied though.
Songs like this is what made some of the music in the Gundam Battle Assault games so great. After hours of searching the net, I couldn't find this gem until I decided to try it here. Easy 5 stars in my book.
One of the most epic bits of music from this game was not only the stage music, but the versus screen as well. The little theme that played when it showed which pilot you were going to fight next was epic.
@lsreborn about half the songs from this game originate from gba1, including this one. the plus side was that gba1 was formatted in such a way that if you put it in a cd player you can listen to the soundtrack. the downside was that most of the songs on it arn't complete versions of the songs, and the complete versions of them-such as this song- which were only available on GBA2, weren't available for listening on cd players because GBA2 wasn't formatted for cdplayer use.
my real nitpick with the game is there's no time attack for the street mode. it would've been nice to see how fast you could complete the game with the playable pilots. oh well still a decent game for the era.
sweet guitar! really, seriously is like WOW.... lets hear it again! battle assault 1 also has great music, shame i lost the CD!! it hurts so much now cuz its very very rare...
MrRandom7 yeah it is, but gba 2 recycled some songs from gba. also of note, while gba2 has more characters to play as, gba 1 has more music and stages.
the most badass battle song to have ever been made for a videogame. ever. and it'll almost always be overlooked by most american audiences because most never played it. *sighs* good times...
Now that you've tasted victory, I'm sure you'll be back.
I always loved how the "Ready? Fight!" seemed perfectly timed for this song.

Nostalgic TO THE BONE
My nostalgia is this: Maxter: *Burning Punch* Big Zam: *Unaffected, uses overpowered missiles* (Great song, but bad memories of getting beat up.)
my real nitpick with the game is there's no time attack for the street mode. it would've been nice to see how fast you could complete the game with the playable pilots. oh well still a decent game for the era.

The first game has some cool music in it. Don't think anyone has posted the bgm for that game.
Check out my man VendavalEste's page. I believe he has some tracks up. Just search Gundam Battle Master.
this is Neueziel's Battle theme from GBA 1
MrRandom7 yeah it is, but gba 2 recycled some songs from gba. also of note, while gba2 has more characters to play as, gba 1 has more music and stages.
Gba 2s gameplay and stage design is more polished anyways
Sweet!
