Dr.creepen will always be considered a legendary storyteller
When a story is split between days, I can’t remember the day before thanks to a TBI. Sending it out in a solid narration gives me a chance to enjoy it. I’ll listen to it in a month as if I’ve never heard it before. Thank you for this video!
This was great. More please
Was looking forward to this conclusion all day. Cheers mate.
56:50 for those who want to skip to the Third Scroll 👍🏻
Thank you!
Thank you so much.
You Good Sir really are something to be Treasured
Thanks again my Friend for another awesome narration.
Ps, Sorry I'm late
Ur too good to us Dr. Creepen thank you sir
Hi
Always love a good zombie story. These stories and the ones on creepy ghost stories channel with the legions being attacked by the undead are a treat.
I live quarter of a mile from, Antonines wall. This is right up my street.
And so is a big portion of what's left of the wall. Brilliant!
I'm from Newcastle 😉
OH dear gords I adored this story! Thank you!!
The Roman legions fighting zombies, it doesn't get better than this!
You spoil us Doc! I like being spoiled!🤗💜🍀
Thanks for filling my script Doc, hope everyone has a great day.
I was excited for this Dr. Your selections are so well done and so interesting. Thank you.
Glad you like them!
thank you for 3 nights in a row of a great story!
Any time!
@@DrCreepen You Good Dr sure do some mighty fine work Thanks for this awesome narration.
Sorry I'm a little late
That was a brilliant and intriguing series tonight. You did an outstanding job 👏 on the narration. Please take care of your voice. The plot was very detailed, also. Thank you. Have a wonderful day 💖🌟🌙
Thank you so much!
Thanks for the story, doc! ‘Hi’ to the cats… 😎🇺🇸🍻
Another excellent story from the grand master. I have been listening to you for a few years now Dr. Creepen. I have never heard stories told so well. I thank you and the extraordinary writers of these stories. May their imaginations resonate on.
On a side note, I think Mr. Creepen has earned himself an Emmy award or two just for the storytelling alone.
This was brilliant. Ironically, my dream to spend a lifetime exploring the Vatican library. I feel the loss of the library at/of Alexandria.
I agree, imagine how much further civilization could have advanced if we didn't have to reinvent the creations whose blueprints burned in that fire. And the ideas we now have to wait for a new genious to speak to be recorded
Edgar cayce said there is a giant library underground under the front paws of the sphinx in egypt all original copies from the alexandria library but islamic antiquities wont allow excavation
@@martinrascon1350 that would be a phenomenal find
@@martinrascon1350 the so called "clairvoyant" (delusional guy or charlatan)?
@@martinrascon1350 We have already seen how many ancient irreplaceable megalithic Buddhist structures in Afghanistan, Sumerian, Babylon, ancient Persian, Hebrew, that have been destroyed in that one corner of the world. Many in just the last century. Yes I am aware of the continuous destruction taking place around the world. But it just appears that part of the world just enjoys doing it a little better than most. If the Sphinx wouldn't have been covered in sand it would have destroyed before the 1st. Crusade.
Ooh missed this one! Was especially excited to see it was by Taxi Dancer too, it didn’t disappoint! 👍♥️
I have been listening to scary stories at night as I go to sleep for many years. It's hard to find some one that has that perfect voice for it so there are only a couple people I can listen too and being able to relax in bed. The Dr. has one of the best voices for reading stories I think I've ever heard. I absolutely love listening to him and so happy I don't have to spend time looking for something to listen to at night any more 🖤
Whoo hoo!!💯💜💯
Perfect & perfect timing 🤗
Thank you, loves to you from 🇨🇦
Wore myself out running errands all day so I'm excited for this!
Awesome!
Glad you think so!
Love this channel. Keep it up please bro
Great story and narration Doc as usual! Keep up the good work!
Doc’s voice is the epitome of unintentional ASMR - change my mind.
Also, this story is excellent; well-worth the three day commitment.
This was the perfect story to listen to after my 2 week hiatus. Been so so busy lately but just knew this would be a good one. Hope you're feeling a bit better now, Doc. Can't wait to finish catching up on your stories!
Great to hear your gentle voice Dr. Been having republic sleeping the last few weeks and for some reason, your narrations have been missing showing up in my recommendation list. Hopefully you'll be able to soothe me into slumber.
Excellent story and narration, Herr Doktor!
Thank you kindly!
This story seems inspired by a story in Max Brooks' Recorded Zombie Attacks. A zombie horde attacked Caledonian villages, eventually making its way to a Roman fort. A Roman merchant witnessed the chaos and noticed only decapitation can end the "demons". He gave the Roman fort's commander a heads up allowing the legions there to properly prepare. They defeated the zombie invasion and established an Roman military doctrine based in the battle, to properly deal with zombies.
Exceptionally well-written. I just finished the third installment tonight and truly enjoyed it. Taxi Dancer must’ve done a good deal of research to make the story work, and it made for an intriguing story. Perfect narration as always.
Not enough it seems. There are some anachronisms and inaccuracies that are bothering some of the viewers here with knowledge of Roman history. But the story as a whole and in concept is great.
Oh Doc, It absolutely tickles me pink whenever you say a long, drawn out, "That's Gooooooood". The way you say "Good" is just so damn satisfying and lingering, as if being intoxicated by a drug. You could literally just make an ASMR video of you repeating "Goooooood...!" and I'd pay for that, lmao.
Does anyone else also just love the way he says it? Or is it just me, perhaps?
Either way, great work as always doctor! Thanks for refilling my prescription.
-Ben
First timer here , his voice is what kept me listening !! Love it
it's just you...
your effin weird.... rofl
Oh, this was a good one! A nice interpretation of the fate of the Lost IX Legion. One thing that irks me, and it's only a small thing, but, archers do not "fire" arrows. They "loose" them. Shouting "fire" at a pack of archers wouldn't mean anything to them.
Dr. Creepen. You help me sleep. Thank you for the story telling
Just love listening to you Doc & I’ve been waiting for the whole story ❤️❤️❤️❤️😎🇦🇺✌️
Great story!
Excellent 🍷
Thank you! Cheers!
56:48 - Part 3
This tapped into some of the old nostalgic horror i get from replaying eternal darkness.! Thank you!
Nice! Was looking forward to this :)
Well read as always doc! Pretty pretty please finish the worst hotel/werewolves are A-holes!
Who wouldn't love to get into the Vaticans archives wow I'd be camping out down there
Excellent story teller! 👍🏽
Thanks so much!
That is one great tale. Thanks again Doc
Been looking forward to this one !!!
this story took a really long time to pick up but these are the kinda stories I love.... where can I find more just like this one?
I've heard this story several times and it only gets better with age.
U know...I've been listening to stories like this and I can't help but think what the Vaticans Secret Archives hold with such ancient historical recounted events that have been written down & stored away somewhere amongst such old scrolls/Scriptures that we may find them to be 'just stories', but yet have the full reality of truth in them.
They destroy most of the important history and replace it with their preferred version
@@dgage1776 as they say...."the Victors write the history" ...sometimes that doesn't mean it's the truth.
@@Sennapop absolutely
To say you did a great job is an understatement
Fabulous 🤩🤩🤩
Hi
BRO! Congratz on making it to Chilling!
I just happened to get the notification now! 🤘😸
This story is incredible.
As a lovecraft fan, phrases like "manuscripts, texts and scrolls" immediately grabs my interest! High hopes for this one.
My shift companion for tonight.
Take care always, Doc!!
Finished it!
Oh Doc - do get well soon. Take lots of liquids, avoid cold drinks and coffee, and ginger tea! Best for the throat.
This was yet another well written story and as normal, Read by the good Doctor Creepen in a way which only he can! I have to say that I really did enjoy this story about the Romans and the army of the undead! Keep up the amazing work Good doctor!! I will carry on working through your stories as much as I am able!

I always enjoy a good "cocky Roman Empire f#cked around and found out in Caledonia" story. Nicely done, sir.
Wow thanks dear Doc the full story. I just came from work, this stupid time difference ,when you are awake i must sleep 🙄🤷♀️.For me it's now perfect time 😁,just eating something 🥘🥪🥣🥗and listening to the story. Wonderful afternoon, i guess you are still sleeping or have early morning. Wish you a wonderful day dear Doc❤🖤🖐‼
Good morning!
So looking forward to this
Yayyy something new... thank you
You're welcome 😊
If you are going to have zombies just put it in the name. I left this on my watch later list for so long while I listened to so many non zombie stories before
Such a great story
Great story telling
🔥
New sub here. Really loving your channel.
Thank you!
Great story ☺️!!!
Glad you liked it!!
Well damn. I suppose he did what he thought was the best way to prevent the happenings of the past to re-emerge. An excellent ending to a fantastic story. Thanks to the author Taxi Dancer for a swift three part tale of what could possibly be truth? But an outstanding entertainer as well. And no less was the stories delivery, and it’s being “brought to life” by our Dr Creepen done as none other can. So in the end we were given absolute top shelf work, and poured like honey into our ears by the best. Truly enjoyed this one! And a special thanks for such a quick succession of the three parts. It’s so difficult to keep the story fresh in your mind when they’re spread out over weeks, not that they’re any less. But the very same excitement of anticipation is felt when done as quickly as this. 👍👍👍👍👍 Top Marks!
Sorry I do enjoy Taxi Dancer stories, I do have two critique to this story. The Roman infantry wasn't using spears they were using the pilum. Which might look the same but are used completely differently. Also the chariot in war had been out of use for quite sometime. I hope you understand these are minor errors but I am looking forward too any updates on the Halls of Montezuma to the Shores of Ancient Roman?
You are correct about the use of chariots in war on the continent, read the actual accounts from Julius Caesar invasion of Britain and the tribes were actively using war chariots at that time. You are right about the pilium being purposed built but that is why it doesn't look like say a phalanx spear.
@@andrewyoung4483 The author does say that the chariots are being used by the Romans and that is somewhat anachronistic. The spear/pilum is not a problem imho. Referring to 'Glasgow' is a bit odd as the period correct name would be *Clotagenium* . But the grossest error is the main character eating boiled potatoes! There were no potatoes in Europe for another 1500 years.
@@kevinjohnbetts I hear you, that kind of error about types of food eaten is a serious lack of basic historical knowledge. Might as well have them eating pasta alfredo delivered by uber eats
@@andrewyoung4483 I know what it's like when you're writing creatively - little details can pass you by. I have been going through my first novel weeding out silly little mistakes like this. For example I'd written about a 16th Century soldier spending all the coins in his pockets ......... except that no-one had pockets until the mid 17th Century! It's now corrected and the book should be printed this month. So I have some sympathy with the author given that 'Creepypasta' stories tend to be written more rapidly and with less stringent editing. But 'potatoes' is a bad one.
Like I said I love the story and I believe the historical mistakes are forgivable. I'm just being whinny because it took me out of the story for a couple seconds.
That’s a great story! Thanks heaps Doc! Don’t work too hard though please!❤️❤️❤️❤️😎🇦🇺✌️
Will do!
Ouch! Bummer!! Great fiction, but just did a study on how much ancient rome wanted nothing to do w/ invading Ireland but, simply fascinated by it. It held no strategic necessity at the time. However ANY concept on the vatican archives is fascinating. So much mystery. Lovely!
Bro if you narrated the Bible, I’d definitely be here for that! Love your work, keep it up!
That story was a perfect match for your narration style and the timber of your voice. Bravo Dr. Creepen 🥂🎭🥂
Yippee 😌, I was right on time 🥰
Hello 👋
“Under the weather” ? Didn’t happen to suffer a bite from an unusually aggressive fan I hope !
Yeah that was a really good one! Evil Caledonian sorcerers raising the dead.
Aka evil ancient Scottish necromancers
No words, just 😳😳😳😳😳 wow!
As an antiquarian who collects old manuscripts myself some dating back to the 13th century
This story isn't creepy its bliss
History and zombies. Nice.
If they did not say fire your arrows, did they maybe say release your arrows?
Wish everybody wonderful day 🖐💞💞
Always enjoy your stories but this one is a cut above the rest. If I had to say n e thing not totally top notch about it, it would when the Roman ate grilled mutton and boiled potatoes. Potatoes are a "new world" food that the Europeans took to the old world from South America. Keep the great stories coming.
Good writing
👁️✨👁️🍷aloha Dr Creepen🍷
Completely awesome Grand artwork at the very last Please ! ! ! respect your throat it's home to your voice the one that we love so very much❤️🔥
Will do!

😎👍
So what happened to the Caledonian and Roman zombie soldiers that overtook the wall?
With at least 5000-8000 zombies making more zombies, that should have started an unstoppable "apocalypse" .
The geordies kicked there ass pmsl
Perhaps, the story of tge Romans triumphing over Caledonian zombie hordes in Max Brooks' Recorded Zombie Attacks, is what ultimately happened.
I absolutely love the writings of this author, but an excellent drinking game would be to take a shot every time the word “cohort” is used.
Wonderful story despite the inaccuracy about him eating potatoes they were not in Europe until the 1500s. They originate from Peru in South America.
Last scroll 56:50.
I only have one criticism. I am sure the Romans knew how to use fire in battle. Possibly using catapults. Or making the archers fire arrows that were on fire.
Other than that, bloody great story!!
Horse breeds that could be ridden were introduced to the region later on, the whole reason chariots exists is because the horses were too small to be ridden one to one.
Suspension of disbelief broken!
There’s a joke in Scotland about the missing 9th Legion. They were tougher than some enemies, it took as many as 7 Picts to finish them off…😂
love a good zombie story
