OMG this hurts... I want to save them all. We're never gonna have these again. The vega, the grand prix, all look good from 25 yards..but I guess ya cant save 'em all. Still hurts to see it

Man, I would like to prowl through all that Bug stuff!..VW bugs are one of the few foreign cars I am really interested in. I am quite surprised nobody wanted that Falcon wagon...the Vegas do not surprise me...nobody wants to put a lot of money into restoring a Vega. The interest and value is just not there. Maybe showing the crushing is a good thing, maybe it will show you are serious about needing to move stuff out after a set amount of time. Maybe it will light a fire under some people who are hesitating. I am simply too far away from you and don't have the time or funds to go that far to get vehicles or parts...if I could, I would have already bought some '67-'72 Chevy truck parts, or components, or maybe a whole truck from you. They are non-existant out here. It seems that most of the time, the people who are interested in stuff are a long ways away. I sell a few parts on FB marketplace, and it seems I have the same issues..people who are interested are far, far away, or nobody seems interested in a part, even hard to find parts in good condition...seems nobody local will ever buy anything. I have had stuff listed for months, and then sometimes I will put in the ad that it will be scrapped if nobody buys it in a certain amount of time..and sometimes I do. If nobody wants to buy it in a year, I need it gone...

Wouldn’t call most of them classics. Have been on a lot of the websites for fifteen years and counting. Harder and harder to sell parts.

Why would you show this. Why would you do this. Damn shame. The least you could do is pull some of the lights and damn lenses. The hubcaps. Something man. Shameful.
But nobody will buy the lights and lenses..I've tried selling parts and bits like that myself. I am glad he shows this, because maybe it will motivate more people to buy the cars...but sadly, I doubt it...people talk, but won't/can't buy sh*t...
@@dyer2cycle well maybe if people sold non running cars slightly above scrap prices. Everyone wants $1.000 and $1.500 for cars that don't run and for cars with no titles. Then they get scrapped when people don't or can't buy them. It's a lose lose, plus another one gets crushed.
I agree to some extent, but most old iron will fetch $400-$500 for scrap, depending on current steel prices, more for a larger truck...and often, the person needs them gone ASAP, especially where someone has passed away and they are cleaning up property...and if there are a ton of cars, the scrapper gets them gone quickly and at one time, and the money at one time...not sitting there waiting on buyers and tire kickers, and people who "might be interested later" and who "will get back to you", price negotiating, haggling, and them trickling out one at a time over months or years...even at $1500 each, it's hardly worth it. Don't get me wrong, I don't like old cars and trucks(old tractors, either) getting scrapped, but I do understand the reality of it...@@zeeelander

The wago you should have giving away to some kid who wants a classic now gone. I got my drivers test in a grand prix like that had no power at all to climb a hill ugly as hell also
I agree, someone should have bought the wagon, it's a shame they didn't..but I'm sure he is no wealthy millionaire, and can't afford to start giving away stuff...have time and money tied up in it, at least this way cut the losses and get a little money for it for scrap...
